Geek Gear has a special Harry Potter themed edition of their monthly subscription box, now called World of Wizardry! When you sign up, let them know which house you’re in, and they’ll take care of the rest, delivering a box of magical items to you every month! The items are not authorized or official, but they are good quality and very creative.

A tri-fold pamphlet product book, doesn’t give much information but has beautiful photos. I do love the addition of prices even if they are in euros.

All of these amazing Harry Potter themed items in one handy subscription box, I’m in love!

Wizardry Tie. Every budding witch and wizard deserves an addition to their formal wardrobe. I love the detail on this neck tie, round glasses and the scar. The black and white tie will go with everything in my closet and my husbands. I think my daughter is also looking for a reason to wear this tie, it’s a family favorite.

Wizardry Tie Clip. To accompany your new tie is a brightly colored lightening bolt in your house color. I can’t wait to take my husband out to a nice dinner and see him in both tie and clip, he’s going to make it look even more amazing.

Signed Artist Print. There are two versions of this print, which one did you receive? Hagrid is one of my favorite characters and he’s got his two best beast friends with him. Doesn’t get much better than that! I think this is one of my favorite prints I’ve gotten from World of Wizardry. Signed art always makes my day… so a great big thank you to Paul Tonner and his art design.

This months cookbook recipes: Queenie’s Apple Strudel and Monster Book Cake. These recipes look amazing but the Monster Book cake looks so much higher than my current level of cake decorating skill. Queenie’s Apple Strudel is beautiful and I just hope I can make mine look as pretty as the picture. Might take me a few tries but I think my family will enjoy being the test dummies.

Magic Wand. Another magic wand… I love these high quality resin wands with an iron core for stability. A beautiful replica of Sirius Black’s wand… the detail in this wand is perfect. I’d like to get my hands on Luna’s replica wand, that’s just me trying to give a little hint, nudge, or push and it’s also taken from next month’s box.

House Placemats. It took some time to get these flattened out…they spent days under my heaviest books. I love these placemats of course I got Gryffindor, my daughter  got Ravenclaw and my husband is a Slytherin. The Batman salt shaker is now a Hufflepuff. I can’t get over how nice these mats are and super easy to clean. I couldn’t get them on my table fast enough and they haven’t been moved since.

Wanded Print. This exclusive print features a clever twist on a classic wanted poster. Many a dangerous magical person has featured on a poster just like this. I did not get the limited edition print. The best thing about this print is that it’s wrapped nicely on a sturdy cardboard back so there are no bent corners.

Metal Broomstick Keyring. A brilliant metal broomstick keyring which is 12cm in length. I have to tell you there is some heft to this keyring. It’s a little too heavy for my car keys but my daughter loves it and has claimed it as her own. She uses it for the keys to the house because it can clip to her backpack.

T-Shirt. What is so funny about this month’s t-shirt is we just had a huge dinner table conversation about the bright colors of shirts that World of Wizardry normally sends. This Sinister design has something dark lurking on it. I plan on wearing it as a token of support for evil wizards.

Every month, I get just as excited about the arrival of my World of Wizardry box as I do about Christmas. I can’t get over how creative Harry Potter fans are, the items in the this box are hardly ever boring or dull. Everything is made to last and to show off, and show them off I do. I;m a little afraid of the recipes this month but I am still going to make them because this reoccurring recipe idea is my favorite.

What did you think of this month’s Harry Potter Geek Gear box, and what house would you be in at Hogwarts?
