The Game of Thrones Box is a quarterly subscription from CultureFly that delivers licensed Game of Thrones collectibles, apparel, accessories, and more! This box is priced at $49.99 per quarter, a bit less on an annual subscription.

I love the look of the box itself — the lid has a fire and ice motif, and the sides are covered in intricate versions of the house sigils.

The back has a portion of the map of Westeros!

This month’s theme is THE NORTH AND BEYOND THE WALL!

A closer look at the GoT full box! It’s getting chilly already, I’m getting The North Beyond the Wall feels!

It’s a combination of Fire and Ice in this card. The design was inspired by GoT season 7 episode 6 — the battle on the frozen lake.

Flip the card and you’ll see the illustrations of the items in the box. Looking at these totally got me in a reminiscent mood as I imagine where the inspirations came from. Many are drawn from specific moments in the series, and, as they say, “The North Remembers.”

Everything in my box!

The King In The North Poster.  There is no mistake, this armor is Jon Snow’s, complete with LongClaw hanging at his side. I love the details of the drawing and the choice of color.

Like everything in the box, the poster is specially made for Culture Fly.

Wun Wun Bottle Opener. Wun Wun is a Free Folk giant that helped Jon Snow win the War of the Bastards. He doesn’t speak much but is respected by his tribe and has strong principles of his own. I can get the analogy because in Season 6, he literally opened the door of Winterfell for Jon Snow to finish the war and into his own demise.

On a happy note, he can now open a lot of bottles for us with this metal bottle opener. The finish is black ink on a brushed nickel appearing finish.

House Sigils Coaster Set. If you have themed dinner parties, this can definitely be handy. When there is a conversation, there is wine, when there is wine, there are goblets and when there are goblets…well (in the story) there are killings because they’re drunk already… Kidding! There will be coasters! And what will the conversation be about, you ask? The houses vying for the throne of course!

There’s House Greyjoy, House Tully, House Lannister, House Stark, and House Targaryen.

I remember Tyrion Lannister a lot with these coasters because he always seems to find himself a goblet of wine and strike a conversation about strategies and houses. Unlike Ned Stark, he knows how to spin the wheel and play the game.

All of the coasters have an environmentally friendly cork base that is also friendly on your furniture. It is made of a sustainable material that is resilient and recyclable.

House Stark Enamel Sigil Pin. The North is always clamoring on about winter coming. This pin lets you join the chorus and display your house pride. The face of the pin is a combination of gray enamel and reflective metal.

This pin is of good quality with rubber backing. The pins are also spread evenly at the center so the weight of the pin will not drag the cloth down.

There was a conversation scene in Season 6 between Sansa Stark and Jon Snow after they won the Battle of the Bastards. As the snow falls, Sansa told his brother that the Citadel sent a white raven and said “Winter is here” and Jon responded “Well, father always promised didn’t he?”

Things Jon Snow Knows Journal. Oh, this is soooo witty. Ygritte of the Free Folk, the first love of Jon Snow, told him of the popular catchphrase “You know nothing, Jon Snow.” She thinks of him as an innocent, honorable man and they don’t have the same principles at first, hence the catchphrase.

Well, I think if Jon Snow has a journal, it will be a novel itself. He was clueless in the show at first but when he experienced and seen unexplainable things, he was enlightened as ever and became the hero everybody is rooting for.

See, this is my favorite out of the bunch. I chuckled when I saw it. It is just a simple journal, but if you are a fan, they wittingly utilized the famous catchphrase and made it a perfect fit for the story and the purpose of this journal.

It’s filled with Jon’s wisdom — all the pages are blank, which means you can freely doodle and write in this journal. It also comes with a black ribbon marker.

Hold The Door Graphic Tee. This is one of the most beautiful cinematic events that just made me thank HBO people. In the whole span of his existence in the show, Hodor only says “Hodor” in different intonations… and we soon found out the hard way that it is short for “hold the door”, hence the design of this t-shirt.

Hodor loved Bran and all his life he served the Starks with all his heart. It turns out that he not only sacrificed for Bran in this moment, but his entire life since childhood has been focused on preparing for this moment. And it is kind of unexpected that somehow a one-liner character that has been ignored by fans for so long has a big part in the whole plot.

The shirt is super comfortable, and it will definitely elicit comments from other GoT fans. It is nice to see Hodor to get some recognition for his sacrifice.

Three Eyed Raven Vinyl Figure. This character was old and needs to teach Bran the ropes of being the next three-eyed raven. Being such, can warg into another species and control them, they also have the power of Greensight, which they can see the past, present and future events. This figure is the TER in raven form, as it first appears to Bran early on in the series.

The figure, like the raven in the show, is a bit disturbing to behold. I remember my infant son freaking out when he saw a commercial for the series during the first season and it zoomed in on the TER — I don’t think he had ever seen an actual raven, but he just knew something was creepy about that third eye!

You’ll never walk again. but you will fly.

I adore this raven’s meticulous detailing. It is very lifelike. It is giving an impression of being animated while being still. It depends on the angle of perspective you are in.

Bran lost himself when he became the three-eyed raven. Knowing and seeing everything took a toll on him and his life.

It is a good display at the house along with the other vinyl figures from GOT.

See the third eye? He’ll be watching.

House Stark Scarf. Though I don’t recall the Starks wearing scarfs in the modern sense, this piece echoes the look of their fur and leather attire. The thickness of the construction means this is best worn draped over the shoulders, not wrapped like a traditional scarf.

The scarf is felt construction with a faux fur covering in the center and pleather panels riveted down the ends. One side has the GOT emblem.

The other has a direwolf. I remember Sansa Stark gave Jon Snow a Direwolf Cloak. If this is the closest we can get to a cloak, then hey I’m not complaining.

It looks like it is inspired from Jon Snow’s every day cloak when he was not in the night’s watch. I think it captures the overall aesthetic of the Starks garb.

If you try this on, it does have a regal feel to it and makes me inspired to have a Game of Thrones party!

This box is just what you need to have a quick fix to quench the thirst for new episodes of Game of Thrones. At least these items can keep us company while we wait for the final episodes to air. All of the references and inspirations of these items were on point. My favorite is the journal because it is just so witty! The t-shirt is also cool. Wearing it is like having an open-secret-club, everybody can relate and everybody knows what the t-shirt is about. I think this box is centered on everything about the unsung heroes in The North. The coasters are not exclusively about the theme but a good addition to the bunch. This edition gave us a nice glimpse of life in “The North and Beyond the Wall, ” and, thankfully, no Craster.
