BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full-size samples every month. In the past, the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes have been able to maintain an amazingly high value.

There is NO waitlist for BOXYCHARM right now – if you like this subscription, go for it, because the no-waitlist situation may not happen again anytime soon!

The items are neatly packaged.

The box is full of beauty essentials!

Included in the box is an information card and the May 2018 theme was BOXY BASH!

At the back, you’ll see coupon codes and limited time offers. The items are listed inside the card, together with a brief description.

Everything in my May 2018 BOXYCHARM! There are variations in the box – see them here.

Here’s a set of Aesthetica Pro Series Face Brush and a 3-Piece Eye and Brow Brush Set!

Aesthetica P12 Face Brush ($27) It’s a universal face brush made of high-quality synthetic bristles. You can use it for applying blush, bronzer, highlighter, and more!

It’s super soft, leaving you with an effortlessly smooth and flawless look.

Aesthetica 3-Piece Eye Trio ($45) First on this 3-piece trio is the angled eyeliner and eyebrow brush.

It’s perfect to use for all brow shapes. The bristles are soft and stiff that’s tapered into an angle to give smooth strokes.

The second one is a full spoolie brush.

It certainly looks like a mascara wand, but it is used to brush your brows and help conduct a thorough plucking if you’re into it.

The last of the three is a fine tipped eyeliner brush.

The fine tip of this brush is used for wings, tight-lining, and to apply product along the waterline.

All three brushes are suitable for wet and dry use with liquid, gel, powder or even creams. And all the brushes are vegan and cruelty-free!

Cover FX Blurring Primer ($38) What I love about primers like this one is that it blurs the appearance of pores, fine lines, and other imperfections, and makes skin look like it’s airbrushed finished, and gives a flawlessly smooth complexion too.

This primer is lightweight and silky smooth, and it has Light-Diffusing Technology that works to help reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines. It also has Vitamin E that promotes antioxidant protection against free radicals. You can use it underneath your makeup to achieve a smooth canvas for foundation application, or over makeup as an instant retouching balm, or wear it alone as it gives an airbrushed effect.

Pretty Vulgar The Ink Gel Eyeliner ($24) I got an eyeliner brush so there’ll be no problem in applying this product, which is a highly-pigmented, quick-drying, and water-resistant gel eyeliner.

It definitely stays in place all day long as it is long wearing, and it gives a precise line for that fantastic cat-eye or the perfect outlines of the eyes, and it glides on smoothly and evenly. It has vitamin C to also condition the lids. Swatch below!

Beauty Creations Matte Lip Gloss In Kiss Me ($10) This matte lip gloss is long-wearing and kiss-proof, no need for frequent retouches. Although… matte lip gloss?! It’s really just a matte lipstick and the same rules apply – keep those lips open until it dries because otherwise they’ll stick!

The color each subscriber gets might vary or you could have received an entirely different product. I got it in Kiss Me and it appears to be manufactured for this box.

It’s a dark pink, almost red color. The formula is not heavy and it also smells really nice!

Pur Sculptor Palette ($30) The palette comes with two shimmery highlighters and two matte contour shades.

What I like about this palette is that it comes with a mirror, so I don’t need to look for one when need to apply these.

They’re also cruelty-free! What you get are the highlighters Originator and Trailblazer, and the matte contours in Inventor and Founder which are both dark browns. These are great for defining your face and at the same time, giving you a warm glow.

I believe this will last for long as they’re really pigmented and just a dab will do!

Here are the swatches! On top of the dark red lippie and the liner gel are the 4 shades on the highlight and contour palette! Highlighters on top and the mattes at the bottom.

The total retail price of this box is $174 and to get them all for $21 is a total steal! Plus all the products are keepers! The brush set is great – they’re soft and gentle. I also love the liner gel, it makes my eye makeup flawless and dries immediately so there are no smudging issues. They focused on makeup again for this box, and it’s really awesome, especially since we received the brushes to apply the specialty items, like the eyeliner! I didn’t think the brushes were super high quality nor did I think they were worth the prices, but all the other items seem to be retail priced (except I think the Lip Gloss was for this box). I’m still happy with it because of the palette, eyeliner, and primer!

LOVE Boxycharm!! Whatever products I won’t use are saved to be given out as gifts, usually to my sister.
