BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full-size samples every month. In the past, the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes have been able to maintain an amazingly high value.

There is NO waitlist for BOXYCHARM right now – if you like this subscription, go for it, because the no-waitlist situation may not happen again anytime soon!

The items are neatly packaged.

Included in the box is an information card.

At the back, you’ll see coupon codes and limited time offers.

The April theme was EYE CANDY!

The items are listed inside the card, together with a brief description. Did you notice they updated the card? I like it – easier to read!

Everything in my April 2018 BOXYCHARM!

Adesse New York High Definition Liquid Lipstick In Haute Cocoa ($24) The silky but non-greasy texture of this liquid lipstick is all because of Japanese Sumac Wax. It also contains Actiphyte of Myrrh, which helps keep your lips soft and supple.

I got the liquid lippie in Haute Cocoa, a mid-tone taupe beige shade. It comes in a clear bottle with a black cap and doe foot applicator. I like the coverage and the fact that it stays on all day long without the heavy or sticky feel on my lips.

Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter In Sparkler ($29) This liquid highlighter blends easily with the rest of my makeup. I got it in Sparkler, which brings a rose gold shimmer. It comes in a tube, making it easier to squeeze a small amount into your fingers or blending sponge. It’s ideal for all skin tones, and it’s oil-free too! Other subscribers might have received MAC Liptensity Lipstick instead of this item.

You Had Me At Hello ColourPop Palette ($18) The first thing that came across my mind is that sweet scene in Jerry Maguire where Dorothy said “you had me at hello” to Jerry. Well, I think this palette is aptly named because it also had me at first glance.

FYI, this was one of FIVE full-size palette variations for the month:

The back of the packaging lists all shades in my palette. You can mix and match them to suit your style.

Look at this beautiful palette! The colors go from light to dark and I think I’ll be able to use these when creating a dramatic look.

These eyeshadows apply smoothly and evenly.

Here are the swatches!

They’re well-pigmented and buildable too!

Dr. Brandt- Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner Purifying Mask ($42) Formulated with salicylic and glycolic acid bead complex, this mask helps unclog pores and tighten its appearance. It’s recommended to be used 2 to 3 times a week, and you just need to apply a thin layer to areas of concern so I think this tube will last for quite long.

FYI this item was announced as a $47 value, which was correct at the time of announcement – the retail price changed to $42 post-announcement.

The BrowGal Instatint Eyebrow Gel in Brown Hair 02 ($22)This eyebrow mousse helps defines the brows and keeps them natural looking. The formula dries really quickly too.

Colors varied for this item!

It’s easy to apply, plus it doesn’t clump! It has teeny weeny microfibers to provide a natural full-brow look. This shade is perfect for my natural brows!

Most of the items I received from BOXYCHARM are makeup and I’m not complaining especially when it comes to having a full-size palette and other amazing goodies monthly. I love the versatile palette colors, as well as the liquid highlighter. The rest is just as practical for everyday use. The only skincare item I received this month is the purifying mask, which was a great change of pace!  With a total retail value of $135, I’m even more impressed with the curation!
