This the simple box with their sticker logo on it.

There’s a very perceptive quote indicated in the card. The boxes are getting deep.

April Beauty Discovery is Osea.

The products are neatly wrapped in green paper.

The box is filled with white squiggles!

Every month, Beauty Heroes also sends a booklet loaded with information.

This month’s Hero item is Osea Undaria Body Polish.

The Sidekick item is Osea Ocean Cleanser.

Another page lists product ingredients…

…as well as a short history of Osea, and a beauty ritual for incorporating these products in your regime.

Everything in the May 2018 Beauty Heroes box!

I love Osea so this month’s curation really made me excited!

Osea Undaria Body Polish ($48) This luxurious scrub exfoliates my skin well, but not to the point of causing it to dry out. I love that it’s nourishing and age-defying too, plus the ingredients are all-natural, vegan, and cruelty-free.

The consistency of the body polish is a bit creamy. It also smells good because of the lavender essential oil.

Other ingredients include acai, pumice, and guarana powders which are known to effectively remove dead skin cells. It also contains hemp and passion fruit oils with organic algae that soften and deeply hydrate the skin. There was no sticky residue after I used it, and it did make my skin feel well-polished!

Osea Ocean Cleanser ($44) I’ve already tried this out before from another subscription box and I liked it. I still haven’t changed my mind because it’s still the light and creamy cleanser that made my skin feel fresh and youthful. The fact that it doesn’t clog pores is a great bonus too, because it means no breakouts.

Its ingredients include vegan lactic acid derived from beets. It gently exfoliates to visibly minimize pores. Another key ingredient is organic seaweed that deeply hydrates the skin, leaving skin feeling balanced, refreshed, and radiant. Despite being low lather, it provided hydration to my skin. It has a pleasant ocean scent too, thus the name.

Beauty Heroes only features two items in every box, a hero item and a sidekick item, but I’m always satisfied. This month’s curation is a big win for me because I’m a fan of Osea. The cleanser is already a favorite, while the body polish is a new discovery that also worked for me. If you’re keen on learning more about natural beauty brands and products, this is a great superscription to try out! It costs $115 per quarter but ships monthly, so the price of each box is roughly $33 – and the value always exceeds it!
