Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme that you and your dog will get a kick out of.

This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzers, Lindy and Dean, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too. Check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! NEW: the heavy chewer box!

DEAL: You can get a $10 credit to the Barkshop with your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

The theme of this month’s box was AGE OF FURAOH!

BarkBox always does a great job of making the box decor, treat and toy selections fit the theme. For this month, you can dress up your pup as a pharaoh/mighty Furaoh and share it on social media by using #BarkBoxDay.

These are the stickers to choose from for your Furaoh Collar.

Included in the box is an information card.

It contains tips and reminders about playing with your dogs and feeding them with treats.

This month’s custom paper features an Egyptian inspired art in front…

…and some narrative illustrations about Egypt at the back!

Everything in this month’s box!

This is the mighty Furaoh collar that can be wrapped around your dog’s neck. You can also design it with the provided stickers.

We chose butt scoots, snack stealing, bed hogging, begging, and howling because they all remind us of our silly puppies!

Bark A Fetching Falcon Jar Plush ($10) Fetching is one of our favorite games so I’m glad they have a plush toy Dean can play with.

It is a very cute golden falcon canopic jar that goes with the theme. It’s filled with fluff and a big ball of water bottle material without the sharpies that can hurt your dog.

The materials are tummy safe for the dog. There are also cornstarch rattle beads inside. Our dogs don’t destroy toys, but this is great to know for those that do!

So pretty and unique!

Bark Sahara Sam The Camel Plush ($12) Lindy had a riot with this one. She kept on tugging and chewing those ropes on the feet of the camel plush toy.

It is stretchy and squeaky! Deanie also likes the camel’s lumps!

This really fits the theme. We played with it and so far it’s holding up!

Plato Pet Treats Thinkers Salmon Recipe ($15.99 Full-Size 10oz.) We like to keep our pets healthy, so these stick treats made from salmon and brown rice are perfect. It’s also a good treat for dogs in training.

There are no sugar or preservatives added. Since the ingredients are organic, they help regulate the pups’ digestion and promotes healthy skin and coat too. Mom gives it two paws up because there are two in the box, and my babies don’t have to fight!

Carob Kahk Cookies ($8.99) These cookies for dogs are baked in small batches. They’re free of wheat, corn, and soy!

It’s aromatic. They don’t look much but my dog goes crazy over them. The cookies are also quite big, but you can easily break them into smaller pieces.

It has an Egyptian history twist that is very fitting to the theme! How awesome is that? Ingredients include oat flour, rolled oats, honey, coconut, and more!

Blissful Biscuit PB & Bacon Sandwiches. Peanut butter, bacon, and jam are combined in these square treats!

These are soft and chewy! The mere sight of it makes our dogs wiggle!

Ingredients include peanut butter, oat flour, rolled oats, coconut glycerin, honey, and barley flour.

Dean is showing off his collar, although it’s somewhat a collar of shame? Too bad they don’t have a sticker for “I put my butt on it.”

Dean loves his Barkbox!

The BarkBox is such a success! The treats in the box were a hit and the plushie toys are durable. Dean enjoyed playing with her new toys right off the bat. The collar fits him perfectly too! He looks like a behaved regal lord from the land of mighty Furaoh! I love the commitment to the theme, even the treats have Egyptian influence on them. So much fun – one of the best themed boxes, dog or not!
