Everything in my April 2018 box!

Tumbler. The plastic tumbler features an underwater-themed coloring sheet. Coloring is something my kids enjoy, and they can even see their work on a tumbler they can use so they think this is such a fun item!

The top lid comes with a bendable straw, so the kids won’t have a hard time sipping their favorite drink from the tumbler.

My Press-Out And Play Auto Shop Fun By John Abbott ($4.99)

Press out and Play is a fantastic new series of interactive activity books, perfect for children who like to keep busy! There is so much to do: help the mechanics to fix up their vehicles in Auto shop Fun!

Each book gives plenty of direction for children to interact with the pages and the press-out pieces, which include objects, vehicles, people, fairies, and animals. Children can use their straws to construct amazing objects that actually move!

The sticker section at the front gives children the opportunity to customize their models, or decorate anything they want!

The interactive book contains over 20 models for the kids to enjoy!

There are lots of fun stickers of cars and tools, as well as drivers and mechanics!

This page introduces kids to the life of a mechanic and how they fix cars.

There is also a page where the kids can try to make their own auto shop.

The pop-out characters make a fun scene, along with the things that make up a good auto-shop! My 3 year old and 6 year old have been playing with this like crazy!

Big Small Mouse By Karma Wilson & Jane Chapman ($9.98)

Even the smallest readers can have big fun with Bear in this sweet introduction to opposites from the New York Times bestselling creators of Bear’s New Friend.

Bear is big, big, big, and mouse is small, small, small but these friends stick together through all the highs and lows!

Join Bear and mouse as they spot all the opposites in their little glen. Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman team up again to bring the youngest Bear fans a delightful concept book that begs to be read out loud.

The book is about how to overcome differences, and becoming great friends despite it all.

The bear and the mouse go on a fun adventure and meet new friends as they go along!

Aside from the life lessons, we’re loving the big and detailed illustrations in this book. It makes a great bedtime read!

Play-Doh Art & Activity Mini Activity Pack ($5) It’s an activity pack that you can bring anywhere to keep kids busy and entertained.

The pack includes a clay tub, some crayons, and an activity book!

They clay we received is in yellow. It’s really small but my son had fun with it!

The crayons came in four colors: blue, red, yellow, and green. The activity book is full of fun too! It has coloring pages, plus some puzzles to solve.

Another page includes instructions on how use the Play-Doh to create a race car!

Colorforms Avengers On The Go Restickable Stickers ($4.38) Packed in a reusable pouch, these Avengers stickers also make great companions for kids during trips or errands.

The back of the pouch is clear, so you already have an idea of what stickers you are getting.

There’s Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, and more!

Also included are two background sheets where the kids can create a scene with the provided stick-ons. The first one is a peaceful city filled with high rise buildings…

…while the other background features an illustration of the destroyed city. It’s great that the stickers are re-stickable too, so the kids can reposition them in case they change their mind or they want a do-over.

Zootopia Suspect Search Card Game ($5.58) It’s a detective-themed matching game featuring the characters of Zootopia!

The game requires focus and concentration!

Here’s everything in the game kit: 5 suspects with stands, 10 case lead titles, 20 evidence titles, 2 detective desk mats, and instructions.

A player must collect 3 suspects to win the game! My daughter absolutely schooled me the first time we played!

Willow Lane Books didn’t disappoint us with our first box! We’re happy to get new titles for the kids, and the activities are all fun and enjoyable. Some of the activities can even be kept to entertain kids while we’re on the go. Our favorites are the Zootopia game and the Play-Doh kit! All in all, it’s a nice subscription to try if you want to keep your children busy without the need for gadgets. There’s a nice variation and most of the stuff they sent us this month are easy to use and to play with!
