The Detox Box is a monthly green and natural beauty subscription box from The Detox Market. For $49.95 each month, you’ll get a box featuring one or more green beauty products with a value of at least $90. The price decreases by $10 per month on a 6 month plan!

As you open the box, you will find feel-good messages from The Detox Box.

This month’s featured product brand is Osea by Jenefer Palmer!

The Detox Market had a little Q and A with the maker Jenefer Palmer, where she also shared some personal information.

I like the information card they provide! It’s complete with a product description, a list of key ingredients, and expert tips.

Can’t wait to dig in!

Everything in the box this month!

Osea Ocean Cleanser ($44) I love Osea everything, so this box is a treat! This facial cleanser is low lather, but it provides long-lasting hydration to my skin. So far, it didn’t cause any breakouts so I’m assuming it is effective in deeply removing face dirt. Ingredients include citrus, seed oils, aqua algae extract, and chlorophyll with hints of lime, cypress, juniper, and jasmine essential oils for a beautiful scent.

It has a pleasant ocean scent, thus the name. You don’t need a lot of pumps to cover your face. One pump goes a long way so I assume it will be a long time before I finish the bottle. This cleanser also includes vegan lactic acid (derived from beets) to exfoliate and minimize pores.

Osea Essential Hydrating Oil ($68) Yes, that price for one ounce! It has the same glass bottle with a pump. I like oils but they can be sticky but this doesn’t feel like it at all. I can pair it up with moisturizer and it doesn’t feel tacky or clumped up.

The main ingredients are a combination of jojoba and sesame seed oils that claim to advance hydration and visibly decrease fine lines and wrinkles. It also has lavender, rosewood, and geranium essential oils, all needed to provide hydration and a radiant glow.

Osea Atmosphere Protection Cream ($48) I love that this cream moisturizes and makes my skin firm. It feels very light on the face and smells pleasant too. I can say that it is a good base cream. I can put sunscreen on and still feels light. I love that it can be used as a primer before makeup because it does have a matte finish.  I regularly keep a bottle of this exact cream at my desk (it’s so refreshing to me) and it’s almost gone, so this was a score.

Its main ingredients are organic algae, shea butter, and avocado oil, all aim to protect skin from the harsh environment and to hydrate.

The retail value of this month’s The Detox Box is $160, which is way past the monthly cost of the box. I’m happy with the skin care products I got this month, especially with the oil that doesn’t feel super greasy on the skin and instead hydrates effectively. Overall, it is a cohesive and strong skincare line. I hope they branch out into more skin care products! If you’re keen on discovering new green and natural beauty products, The Detox Box is a great starting point. The items and brands are always exceptional, plus the value of the items is always high. Totally a bang for the buck!
