Shayla Wolf, the talented illustrator and designer who forms half of the duo known as Sassafras Lane Designs is our featured artist this month!
Through Sassafras Lane Designs, Shayla produces unique modern quilt, block-of-the-month, and bag patterns inspired by everything from nature to architecture and animals to people.
Her popular bag patterns are each named for beloved family members, friends, and pets, and her colorful quilt patterns feature street names—some famous, some made up. All of Shayla’s patterns are so beautifully and clearly photographed that they read like easy-to-follow recipes for quilts! We are in love with the palette Shayla used for Foundation, her new collection for Windham Fabrics, and we think you will love these jewel-toned geometrics and blenders as much as we do.
