First peek!

I received 2 full-sized products from Graydon Skincare!

  • Our products contain a plethora of bioactive (having an effect on the skin) ingredients which work to maintain and restore the youthful beauty in your skin. Bursting with omega rich oils, antioxidants, phytosterols, linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid, carotenoids, high levels of both tocotrienols and tocopherols (which are the natural isomers of Vitamin E), flavonoids and a plethora of vitamins and minerals, the ingredients and research within our line offers you unparalleled quality and product functionality.
  • Our skin is our largest organ, so it goes without saying that we do not use any mineral oils, chemicals, parabens or sulfates. No artificial dyes or synthetic aromas. We’re gluten free, almost all vegan, and organic whenever possible.
  • Though nuts have excellent nourishing qualities, we choose not to use nut derived ingredients due to the prevalence of nut related allergies. We do not formally claim this on our labels as we do not (currently) use a certified nut free laboratory to produce our products.

The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.

Everything in my April Pearlesque Box!

Graydon Skincare Bamboo Charcoal Sponge ($14) I receive a lot of konjac sponges in boxes since they are natural and easy to use, but this was one of the best ones I’ve tried! After I ran it under warm water it swelled up and fit nicely in my hand.

After rinsing I used the attached string to hang this on my faucet overnight. It doesn’t usually dry completely but it dries enough that I can set it aside when I get up and then I use it again in the evening.

Graydon Skincare Aloe Milk Cleanser ($28) I usually do a double cleanse with an oil based makeup remover and although I skipped it the first time I used this cleanser, my skin wasn’t completely makeup-free so if you wear a lot of makeup then I suggest getting the bulk of it removed first.

The ingredients were soothing and this is definitely a creamy cleanser and it didn’t lather. I have dry skin so I prefer it that way! I used the konjac sponge to help work it into my pores and then followed it up with a good rinse.

I used around four pumps in the evening, two in the morning. It had a light, citrus herb scent and didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped.

Graydon Skincare Superfood Serum ($55) I love serums and oils so when I see one in a box I do a little happy dance!

This stuff is made up of a bunch of amazing oils such as goji and chia. One pump was all I needed and I used it on its own – I didn’t feel like I needed any other moisturizer. You can also mix it into face cream if you want. The scent was pleasant and I felt like I had “fed” my skin when I used this stuff! It can also be used under eyes so that’s means less stuff to carry around if you are traveling.

This has the same type of pump as the cleanser.

I have enjoyed using these products and will use them all up since they worked so well! Pearlesque is a great box to get if you enjoy learning about clean beauty brands because you really get a feel for them when you use several products from the same line. Plus, the full-sized products are awesome and last for at least a month, if not longer. I received three products this month with a value of around $97! I am always happy to see this box in the mail and love that it introduces me to lines I may not have heard of but I always enjoy getting to know them!

PS: The May box will feature items from Delia Organics!
