Mighty Fix is a monthly subscription from Mighty Nest that sends one item designed to help your family lead a healthy lifestyle. Subscriptions cost $10 a month or $99 a year, and products sent will retail for over $10.
US Shipping is free and add-on items ship free, too. 15% of the cost of the subscription will be donated to the school of your choice. FYI – when you subscribe you may receive one of the past items that we’ve reviewed.
The items came fully covered with bubble wrap!
Everything in my box!
Tovolo Toasted Beechwood 12.5″ Large & 9″ Mini Spoonula Cooking Spoon Set ($14.95) It’s a biodegradable, non-toxic spoon set!
This 12.5 inch long regular size “spoonula” is perfect for everyday mixing, scooping, and serving. Its ergonomic handle allows a more comfortable grip!
Its angled head ensures food stays in spoon while scooping. There appears to be some damage at the end of the spoon, though.
Since these are made from wood, it doesn’t conduct heat and it’s non-reactive. Most especially, it won’t leach harmful chemicals into your food!
There’s also a 9-inch mini “spoonula” that works similarly, but meant for smaller cookware.
These spoonulas are washable, BPA-free, and definitely food safe. They should be very durable, and as long as you take proper care of them, you can expect them to give you long service! Unfortunately I didn’t think the quality of my spoons were up to par and emailed in to Mighty Nest – they agreed and they’ll be sending me a new spoon set with my next month. They offered to send them right away, but I declined, as that isn’t the point of sending them together with my next monthly delivery.
Mighty Fix is a monthly subscription that brings a variety of eco-friendly items for your home and for your whole family. I’m quite happy to get a set of useful kitchen tools this month. The fact that the items retail for $14.95 when the subscription is just $10 a month is a bonus! This subscription is a nice way of discovering earth friendly products, a great place to start if you’re just starting to practice an environmentally-conscious lifestyle. I was pleased with my customer service resolution, and it was great to know if there’s something wrong they’ll fix it right away. And did these go to waste? Nope – they’re currently featured in my kids’ play kitchen!
