The back of the card listed each item and provided some info.

This was my first Lipstick Junkie box!

This month’s box had four different items in it ranging from glossy to matte.

IBY Beauty High-Intensity Lipstick In Pout ($12) is cruelty-free and is supposed to provide anti-aging benefits while leaving lips moist.

Wow, that is high intensity! I knew to expect bright colors with this sub and although this color isn’t my everyday look it can be blended with a darker or lighter color to make it customized.

She Believes Cosmetics Lip Gloss In Mojo ($9.50) Now this is more my style!

This is a paraban-free sparkly lip gloss that can be worn on its own or to spice up a matte lip color.

Classic doe-foot applicator and just a hint of glitter means that I can wear this without looking like a five-year old.

Sorme Cosmetics Hydra Moist Lipstick In Chemistry ($17) was my favorite item this month! The color and formula were both perfect for me.

It was all squished up in the lid though.

This shade could be built up to make it more intense. I liked it and it stayed a while before fading and luckily didn’t smear outside my lip line.

Hello Waffle Lipstick In Tuxedo ($5.75) The packaging featured a picture of a tuxedo cat and the color was in memory of Lipstick Junkie’s 18-year-old cat. Something else I discovered: Hello Waffle has their own beauty subscription box!

I know this says lipstick but it felt more like a lip balm and was vegan friendly. I slicked it on and sadly the color is not something I would wear. It also didn’t cover my lips completely. I tried mixing it with the bright pink color shown above and it turned purple. If I decide to be a witch for Halloween then I’ve found my perfect lip color!

Here’s the swatches all lined up! I was very happy with two of the products I received, and although I didn’t care for the black lip color I did like the formula as a balm. My box had a value of around $44.25. The two products I will wear were worth $26.50, which is worth more than the price paid for the box. If you like bright lip colors then I would suggest Lipstick Junkie since you get a mix of items, but if brights and/or wacky colors are not for you then you can pass them along to someone else – you may still get a good value for two or three that you like!
