The theme this month is Enchanting Essentials.

The box refolds into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At the bottom of the box is the Black Lake.

We received a folded letter with a faux seal.

A new year calls for new wizarding gear! Whether brushing up on famous witches and wizards or finishing up another year at Hogwarts, this crate brings you useful items from across the Wizarding World to prepare you for anything that might come your way!

The letter tells you how magical this month’s items are – the stars denote that the items are exclusive to the box!

There’s another card that informs us about a contest where we can win a free 3-night trip for four to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort!

J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World subscribers are automatically entered to win. Awesome!

All the magical loot in the March 2018 Wizarding World crate!

Patronus Lapel Pin. Expecto Patronum! This Patronus in a form of a deer belongs to Lily… And also Severus Snape!

This lapel pin looks gorgeous! Whether you’re a Slytherin or a Gryffindor, you can use it as your patronus charm. Remember the time Snape casted it at Dumbledore’s office? Here’s the heartwarming and tear-jerking scene:

After all this time? Always. And it even guided Harry to find the Gryffindor sword!

The only thing is that it’s not a Horcrux! Even the card notes that they were taking a break from the series. I’m suspecting it is a manufacturing delay and they elected to include this pin, which wasn’t on a Loot Crate card, instead of the next pin in the series. Hopefully those Horcruxes return in the next box!

This month’s shirt has a sticker indicating that it’s a Loot Crate exclusive.

Hogwarts Crest T-Shirt. The Hogwarts crest features all the four animals that represents each house in the school.

It also has the “escutcheon of pretence,” which is the letter H in the middle. The grayscale design looks absolutely fascinating and just pops off the shirt.

Hogwarts House Magnet. It’s a Hufflepuff magnet that features the house’s emblem and badger.

You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil.

We selected Hufflepuff for the box – my daughter’s house. Pottermore says I’m a Slytherin (!).

4-Pack Wizarding Journal. IA set of Harry Potter notebooks. They’ll be great whether for journaling or simply for taking notes!

Each notebook has 50 sheets.

There’s a notebook featuring winged keys, while the other one is a house neutral notebook that features the animal symbols of each house plus the escutcheon of pretence (this is our new phrase and we are loving it! read more about the heraldry in the Wizarding World here!). The third notebook has the Whomping Willow on it, with the words always below the image. Lastly, there’s a notebook that features constellations, with a very beautiful quote that goes with the heavenly design:

Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light.

These words were said by Albus Dumbledore in Prisoner of Azkaban.

The pages are all lined, so you can write neatly and orderly in them.

Double-Sided Wizardry Sign. I got the perfect sign to hang on one of our doors! One side says Wizards Welcome, which means the door is open for guests. And yes, even muggles can be tolerated!

Meanwhile, the other side says Wizardry at Work, No Muggles Allowed. It’s such a geeky way to say do not disturb and I love it!

Newt Scamander Scrapbook. Still belonging to the Potterverse, this Fantastic Beasts movie scrapbook is all about Newt Scamander. It was written by Rick Barba and is available at Amazon for $10.

The book lets us have a sneak peek on what’s inside Newt’s enchanted case!

The front features Newt’s enchanted case, and some of the beasts that were able to escape… Can you spot his Niffler?

The back cover features the Runespoor, a three-headed snake that came from Africa, and some other symbols around it.

It even has a folded US map inside!

It features USA Spell Contraventions from MACUSA!

It’s used mainly by the F.B.C.V.N.O., or the Federal Bureau of Covert Vigilance and No-Maj Obliviation.

Another map features the whole world!

It is a Wizarding Equipment, and I know Newt used it to locate the other beasts!

The illustrations are impressive!

The photos are really nice and high-quality too.

This will give us the chance to get to know Newt even more, and his enchanted case of course!

There are even picture cards included. There’s Queenie, Tina, Jacob and Percival Graves!

The back of the cards feature some symbolic drawings that pertains to the characters in front.

Another surprise: a pocket with playing cards!

I love the artwork on each card!

The rest of the pages feature different beasts Newt’s studied about. And there’s our favorite Niffler!

Do you remember the beast that helped Newt and Tina escape? Yep, it’s the Swooping Evil! Really cool creature that I would like to keep as a pet, sort of!

This is another fantastic box from Wizarding World, everything is just magical and most items are also exclusive for the subscribers! I love the shirt that they sent this month – it rocked the school’s emblem in grayscale! The wizardry sign is a great inclusion too! All in all, it’s an awesome subscription that makes Potterheads totally happy. I thought this was a really solid box, and it came on time. The only disappointment was the lack of Horcrux pin – hope they complete the series over the next two boxes!
