My items were tucked into white paper squiggles.

Everything in my March 2018 California Found box! I was born and raised in Southern California and get so excited when I receive this special box from my wonderful home state!

I spotted these cards as soon as I opened the box. The band that was wrapped around them was embedded with wildflower seeds.

There were 6 cards in this grouping – one about the March collection, the other 5 introducing the featured artists and their items that were sent this month. California Found donates 10% of their profits to charitable organizations.

This month’s proceeds are going to the ASPCA. I have adopted my last four kitties from the animal shelter so that makes me feel good to know that some more furry friends will be fed and housed.

If you find a product or maker that you really like, then you can use the included coupon codes featured on each card to save on a purchase on their websites.

My March California Found box!

Pop Candy Fresh Butter Crunch ($22) I love it when I get to try two different flavors of something similar so I can get a feel for the product and company. I received Rosemary Almond and Pecan but there are several other flavors to choose from in the online shop.

I went to Pecan first! I have had thousands of dollars worth of dental work these past few months so biting down on this candy wasn’t an option, but I let it slowly melt in my mouth instead. I love the buttery freshness of this flavor, and the roasted pecans are just perfect. Just 4 simple ingredients, all of which I can pronounce, and such an amazing outcome.

Next, I tried Rosemary Almond. This has only one more ingredient than the last flavor, and it’s rosemary. I never would have thought to put those flavors together but somehow they work well together! P.O.P suggests topping sweet potatoes with broken up pieces of this brittle to take them over the top and that sounds pretty tasty to me! Made in Santa Monica.

I received two ginormous bath bombs from Neni’s Soap Shop.

Neni’s Soap Shop Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Bath Bomb ($5.50) If you look back at the first picture you will see that this bath bomb is topped with oats, and the smell is wonderful, with an almost creamy almond scent. Avocado oil helps soften skin but beware when getting out of the tub as it may make the tub bottom slippery.

Neni’s Soap Shop Moonlight Pomegranate Bath Bomb ($6) How exotic is this bath bomb, with its golden shimmer on top! The scent has notes of cassis and blackberry and even though I haven’t unwrapped it yet, it has scented my entire office! Made in Hanford.

CA Makes Classic Bun Pin ($40) I have short hair so I will pass along this brass pin to one of my daughters. It is 4 inches long and according to the CA Makes website is “best for medium to long average hair.” From Santa Barbara.

Robyn Rhodes Dany Adjustable Ring ($25) I couldn’t find this ring on the Robyn Rhodes website but I found about a hundred more that I fell in love with!

Speaking of falling in love, Robyn Rhodes jewelry has been worn by the women on The Bachelorette, and has been featured in big name magazines.

This ring is adjustable and looks like hammered gold.

Very pretty and I believe this style is called a cigar band.

I placed it on my pinky but it fit better on my ring finger, however, that’s where my wedding ring normally goes! This is an elegant looking ring. It would probably look best on my middle finger. From L.A.

Misstate Maker Greeting Card Set ($16) Every box I have received so far has featured a beautiful set of cards. I couldn’t find this item in the Etsy store but you can custom order a set from your favorite state.

Three of the cards say “California”, while the other one lets the shape do the talking. Each card came with a white envelope and they are all blank inside and perfect for any occasion.

California Found has quickly found its way into my heart with its well-made, handcrafted items that are pleasing to look at, use, eat, wear, etc. The items are oftentimes a new spin on an old favorite, such as rosemary in the almond brittle, and the products are always high quality. It’s really hard to pick a favorite item since they are all winners, but the note cards always strike my fancy. The ring is way different from anything I would choose for myself and I look forward to wearing it. The March box had a value of around $114.50! I am always excited to find California Found in my mailbox, because it reminds me of my home state and it makes me proud of where I came from!
