Shrimp Chips Yuzu Black Pepper Flavor ($3.33) This wheat puffed snack is packed with Japanese yuzu, black pepper, and shrimp flavors. Each piece resembles a ridged stick. They’re crunchy and airy, while the taste is mildly spicy.
Lotte Milkis Strawberry ($3.16) Milkis is one of the most popular beverages in Korea. It’s a fizzy carbonated drink, with a creamy milk and strawberry flavor. It’s best served iced cold!
Umaibo Corn Potage Taste Good Stick ($0.30) Umaibo is a puffed corn stick snack. This one boasts of the savory and creamy taste of a sweet corn soup. It makes a great on the go snack! Unfortunately ours was totally squashed.
Lotte Pokemon Ramune Soda Candy ($0.82) These round candies are packed with ramune soda and pineapple flavors. It fizzes once you put it in your mouth!
Kanro Pure Grapefruit Gummy ($2.99) Made using grapefruit, these heart-shaped gummies are filled with collagen and vitamin C. It’s dusted with sugar, so it’s tart and sweet at the same time. The packaging is resealable. This was my favorite item – gummy, delicious, and the grapefruit flavor is totally pure.
This month’s Snacky By Akibento featured a nice variety of snacks, chips, and candies. The Milkis drink, fizzy candies, and umaibo are no longer new to us, but I loved the gummies and the shrimp chips. If you love both Japanese and Korean snacks, this would be a fun subscription to try.
