OatBox is a Canadian granola subscription box, that ships for free to both Canada and the US. For $20/month, you’ll receive two bags (380g) of hand-blended granola every month! Made in Montreal by chefs, they send two different mixes each month. Their plans are customisable as well — if you have allergies, you can elect to replace a mix with another, have two of the same mix, and so on. You can easily skip or cancel right from your account — no need to wait on customer service to get back to you. If you are a big fan of granola, you can even have it delivered every other week! You can also add single servings granola or protein bar to your order.

Your first box contains the reusable mason jar, so subsequent boxes will be smaller by comparison.

DEAL: Save $5 on your first box! Use this link to get the deal.

Maple & Nuts (380 grams). This month, we are celebrating Maple Season with maple syrup in both our mixes!

This one has walnuts, pecans, wheat flakes, rolled oats, and maple syrup.

Nuts and maple is such a classic combo, and for a good reason: it’s tasty! The nuts are crunchy and sweet, and the oat clusters have just the right balance between crunchy and chewy.

Chia & Banana. More maple syrup goody!

Lovely crunchy banana slives (they are big), with chia, banana puree, maple syrup, rolled oat flakes and rye flakes.

In a previous box, I received a mix with chia and I would advise you to shake the bag upside down once in a while if you don’t want to end up with all the chia seeds in your last bite!

Oatbox always includes a card with recipe for each of their mix. This month, we have a Monkey Muffins using the Chia Banana Granola and a Blueberry Oatmeal Breakfast Bars for the Maple & Nuts Granola. Of course, no one is forcing you to stick to this suggestion!

I LOVE Oatbox, I even get it every other week. I don’t bake with the granola, yet, but I add it to my dessert (fresh fruits topped with plain yogurt, topped with granola is my go-to dessert), or as a late afternoon snack with plain unsweetened soy milk. My husband adds it to his ice cream! Oatbox also has a coffee subscription box!
