ApotheCARE Essentials The Booster Shampoo ($3.25) Infused with rosehip oil, this shampoo keeps your scalp moisturized while stimulating hair follicles that causes good hair growth. Another key ingredient is Phytoblend, which contains a bevy of natural extracts for healthier strands overall. It smells really good too, thanks to steam-distilled geranium. I love how it makes flat hair voluminous and thicker, my hair strands are not weighed down by product build up or oil.
ApotheCARE Essentials The Booster Conditioner ($3.25) This conditioner is specially designed to provide essential moisture, without making hair feel heavy. It also contains the same ingredients as the shampoo, and it actually boosts hair’s natural volume.
I didn’t always love getting shampoo and conditioner from Birchbox but the last couple sets I have received have been full travel sizes, great for my hair, and this one was fantastic – and designed especially for hair like mine. No complaints!!
Laura Geller New York LashBOSS Mascara ($6.90) The mascara comes with a dual-bristle brush so you can customize or do what you want with your lashes. Long lashes? ✅ Curled and voluminous? ✅ Best thing of all, the formula doesn’t clump or flake.
This formula is infused with collagen, peptides, and keratin to strengthen each lash and make them all appear thicker.
M·A·C Cosmetics Cleanse Off Oil ($1.28) Packed with olive oil, evening primrose and jojoba seed, this gentle formula easily removes makeup, even waterproof mascara. It effectively cleans and it doesn’t clog pores, so it’s a win for me. It also easily rinses off, leaving skin feeling soft and refreshed.
Winky Lux Glazed Lips Donut Lip Gloss ($3?) My sample choice pick for this box is this donut lip gloss. It offers shine, a delicious scent, and a glint of shimmer.
It never feels sticky, and also provides semi-sheer pigment and hydration with a coconut and jojoba-rich formula. Just a swipe will give your lips a natural and healthy look, and it can even be worn as a top coat over your lipstick to add some sheen.
Swatching the lip gloss, there’s a hint of color.
Mostly, it is shiny. It’s really great as a top coat on whatever lip color you choose and it’ll transform the color to a shiny and glamorous one.
The retail value of this box is about $20, and I love that I can get them all at about half the cost! The items inside the box matched my beauty profile and my favorite is probably the lip gloss (which is actually my item selection pick) as it gives sheen to my lips, making it look hydrated and prettier, on top of whatever lip color I choose to use. I also love the hair care products as I really need them to keep my tresses looking healthy and beautiful.
