Everything in the February 2018 Crate!

Infinite Dendrogram Pin Infinite Dendogram is a light novel series by Sakon Kaidou. The pin features the volume cover of the novel where we can see two of the characters, Reiji Mukudori and Embryo.

In the year 2043, Infinite Dendrogram, the world’s first successful full-dive VRMMO was released. In addition to its ability to perfectly simulate the five senses, along with its many other amazing features, the game promised to offer players a world full of infinite possibilities. Nearly two years later, soon-to-be college freshman, Reiji Mukudori, is finally able to buy a copy of the game and start playing. With some help from his experienced older brother, Shu, and his partner Embryo, Reiji embarks on an adventure into the world of Infinite Dendrogram. Just what will he discover and encounter in this game world known for its incredible realism and infinite possibilities?

Psycho-Pass Shirt This month’s most awaited shirt is all about Psycho Pass, a cyberpunk anime TV series.

You can never go wrong with black shirt! It that features the iconic handgun called the Dominator on the side…

…and a Psycho Pass logo across the front.

Robotech Beanie Representing one of the well-known series in mecha-world is this yellow beanie from Robotech. It will make such a bold and geeky fashion statement.

The yellow beanie has the Skull Squadron emblem patch at the center.

Battle Angel Alita Vol 1 Manga It’s no longer in print as a standalone but, thanks to Loot Anime, I got an exclusive reprint so I can catch up just before the film version is released.

Set several centuries in the future, the abandoned Alita is found in the scrapyard of Iron City by Ido, a compassionate cyber-doctor who takes the unconscious cyborg Alita to his clinic. When Alita awakens, she has no memory of who she is, nor does she have any recognition of the world she finds herself in. As Alita learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious past.

It’s a high-quality print, with detailed illustrations that really impressed me!

Astro Boy Light Up Figure The featured figure is perfect for this month’s tech theme, and it’s none other than Astroboy!

The back of the box shows different parts of Astroboy and their functions.

Astroboy is a humanoid, or a robot made with human emotions. This figure shows us what’s inside his body, and it lights up!

Doctor Tenma surely made a really good humanoid design that he based from his son.

This is how it looks like when lit up. Beautiful!

This month’s theme will surely be appealing to mecha-themed anime fans. Technology is really something that does not stop evolving, it just gets better just like anime that focuses on that genre. My favorite item from this box is the light up Astroboy figure and, of course, the Psycho-Pass shirt! I still miss the charms that I’m getting from this box though. Still, it’s a great box for any otaku!
