CosmoBox is a lifestyle subscription box curated by the editors of Cosmopolitan magazine that brings you full-size quality goodies that compliment and empower your multidimensional lifestyle. You will receive a box filled with the newest trends in beauty, fashion and lifestyle (valued at over $40).

Note that our box didn’t come until March – and despite over 10 emails back and forth, the CosmoBox operators were unable to provide us with a satisfactory answer regarding why it was so late! They told us repeatedly that March was delayed – but no answer to why we received our February box well after everyone else had received it.

DEAL: Use the coupon code COSMOBOX25 to get 25% off!

The items are wrapped with a shinny bronze paper and is sealed with the CosmoBox by Cosmopolitan logo.

Team Cosmo has included a short note to their subscribers.

On the back of the card is a list of all the items included in the box, along with a short description for each.

Everything in my box!

Dove Chocolates Mint Chocolate Cookie Bites Curated by The Cocoa Exchange ($12) These are crunchy mint chocolate cookie balls drenched in dark chocolate.

Dove Signature Mint Chocolate Martini Mix Curated by The Cocoa Exchange ($22) With this martini mix, you can create silky smooth cocktails, mocktails, and everyday sweet and creamy sips. It’s also mint chocolate – decadent, but I sort of wished that it was in a different flavor, as I like to keep my mint in my cookies.

The packaging of the cookie bites is resealable, so you can easily bring it on-the-go and keep it fresh.

They’re bite-sized and each piece boats of a silky smooth texture with a sweet, lingering taste. They taste exactly like Thin Mints. You need no other description.

This mint chocolate martini is made of 18% real chocolate. It’s super rich and creamy!

Also, 10% of the retail sales of this product goes to CARE to support women entrepreneurs in Cote D’Ivoire.

Dove Signature products are distributed via home parties (The Cocoa Exchange is a direct sales company). I’m really surprised they didn’t include information about this in the box.

Spongelle Body Lotion in French Lavender ($20) This luxurious lotion contains shea butter, argan oil, avocado oil, and vitamin E. It’s lightweight and fast-absorbing, giving your skin the moisture and healthy glow it needs.

It has top notes of hesperides, middle notes of tea rose and amber, and base notes of lavender tea. This was a very large bottle (12 ounces of lotion) and the lotion itself was very light. The inclusion of this brand two months in a row is slightly odd, but the two products were so different (last month had a body wash infused sponge), that it didn’t seem repetitive.

Lime Crime Matte Velvetines Mini in Riley ($14) The iconic Velvetines line offers a matte finish without any shine or gloss. The lippie I got is in Riley, which is a warm coco nude brown.

It’s a great lippie choice if you want statement lips that look flawless all throughout the night!

The lippie comes with an applicator that accurately swipes the lipstick to give your pout a warm and gorgeous color.

Here’s the swatch of the liquid lipstick!

An info card from Lime Crime is also included.

It contains a $10 off coupon which you can use for your next order of $50+ on Lime Crime’s online shop. Lime Crime isn’t the least controversial makeup choice ever, but I think they’ve grown past their initial woes.

Cosmo’s Sexy Sutra Book: 101 Epic Positions ($15.76) Now this finally says Cosmo! And not just on the cover – the actual item is trashy-as-I-wanna-be straight up Cosmo. There’s a reason they’re getting pulled from the Walmart checkout lines!

From the sex experts at Cosmopolitan comes this No. 1 handbook for perking up your sex life.

The package is sexy, alluring yet discreet—red embossing on a foil-stamped pink cover—a real go-to for the bedside table. Within, sensual illustrations and detailed descriptions provide inspiration and graphic instruction for 101 positions. Red-hot topics and tips, lusty challenges, and other arousing extras round out this package. Here’s a gift that’s perfect for a valentine or bachelorette, or for self-purchase by the curious.

The book is hardbound, with a fiery red and pink design. There’s also a color-coded legend going from blue to red!

It’s divided into 3 parts, aside from the introduction and index, matching the colors of the page edges.

The handbook has 100+ pages of “educational” content, intended for couples.

There are also illustrations for better understanding of the “articles”. Yeah, this is pretty much all that’s going in this review. The book is quite saucy and 100% Cosmo!

Last but not the least, CosmoBox included an offer of a one-year subscription to Cosmopolitan for just $5 (which is like getting 12 issues for the price of one). If you are already subscribed, you can gift it to a friend.

Everything is high quality in the CosmoBox and I think this month’s contents are fit for a quality time for those who have a partner. I can use the lotion and the lippie to get ready for a fun date night, or be mellow with my date inside the house by nibbling some rich, bite-sized chocolate-covered cookies and having chocolate infused booze. The book is actually a very interesting inclusion and we think on point for Cosmo girls. It is a relatively inexpensive lifestyle subscription, and I’m looking forward to the next boxes to see how they up their game each month!
