Chococurb is a monthly subscription containing extraordinary, premium, gourmet chocolates – this isn’t your convenience store candy! These items can come from small, local chocolatiers or more established national brands. Every box will have something new, exciting, and absolutely delicious. You can choose from the Classic Box ($35), which has 5-7 items, or choose the Mini ($20), which has 3 items for smaller appetites. Shipping is free during the cooler months but expect to pay for FedEx shipping in the warmer months. I am reviewing the Classic Box today!

This month, my chocolate was in a styrofoam cooler with three ice packs. The ice packs were still a bit frozen and my chocolate looked in perfect condition.

Chococurb doesn’t put any product info in the box but they did include a card with info on their new app.

The presentation was simple, with gold touched tissue paper and a Chococurb sticker.

The chocolate was wrapped in a protective silver pouch to keep it from melting. Texas can have some pretty extreme temperature changes, even in March!

Chococurb wants to help you discover chocolate that you will love so they have a short questionnaire that you fill out to let them know your preferences.

My March 2018 Chococurb! Please keep in mind that your box may vary depending on your preferences! I received 5 different items this month and they all look so good. I always enjoy the variety – white, dark, or milk chocolate; nuts, caramel, everything!

Dolcetta Artisan Sweets Cookie Dough ($8) Dolcetta makes hand-crafted chocolates in Seattle and I tried this bar first.

I wanted to show the back of the package because it had a sweet quote about how joy can be found all around and I thought that was a nice touch. Plus, Dolcetta donates 5% of sales to help feed others.

A 60% dark chocolate shell holds a creamy white chocolate paste that is scrumptious. Almost like a caramel filled bar, but the caramel is in a creamy form.

Amedei Tuscany Cioccolato Al Latte Milk Chocolate (€5.80 about $7.19) I think they wanted to capture the essence of cream in this milk chocolate bar!

Extremely smooth and nicely sweet, a milk chocolate bar that is superb.

Mayana Chocolate Kitchen Sink Bar ($8) Some bars make a comeback and I was happy to see this one in my box!

Peanut butter, pretzels, and crispy rice cereal are mixed with milk chocolate and then layered with buttery fleur de sel caramel and covered in dark chocolate. Yes, it is as good as you imagine.

Vosges Haut Chocolate Super Dark Coconut Ash & Banana ($2) This is another bar that I have received in a previous box.

72% dark chocolate is combined with coconut ash, coconut, and dried bits of banana. It mostly tastes like a sweet yet deep, rich dark chocolate with a hint of tropical fruitiness. The bar is stamped with “open your mind” on the front. I decided to open my mouth instead. Yum!

Theo Chocolate Organic + Fair Trade Almond Coconut 65% Dark Chocolate ($3.99) Theo wants us to celebrate spring with this beautifully packaged dark chocolate bar.

Crispy toasted coconut and almonds are embedded in this rich bar. I think I would love that combo of ingredients even more in milk chocolate, but hey, this is heart healthy, right?

I am always happy to get my monthly box of happiness from Chococurb! There is something for every chocolate craving I might have. I have discovered some truly remarkable chocolates through this subscription and they only send exquisite chocolate. Some of it is fun, some of it is serious, all of it is decadent.
