Chococurb is a monthly subscription containing extraordinary, premium, gourmet chocolates – this isn’t your convenience store candy! These items can come from small, local chocolatiers or more established national brands. Every box will have something new, exciting, and absolutely delicious. You can choose from the Classic Box ($35), which has 5-7 items, or choose the Mini ($20), which has 3 items for smaller appetites. Shipping is free during the cooler months but expect to pay for FedEx shipping in the warmer months. I am reviewing the Classic Box today!

The presentation was simple, just a bit of tissue paper with the bars tucked inside.

Chococurb doesn’t put any product info in the box but they did include a card with info on their new app.

Everything was in perfect condition, now let’s see what we have this month!

I received 5 different items this month and they all sound so yummy! I always enjoy the variety – white, dark, or milk chocolate; nuts, caramel, everything!

Chococurb wants to help you discover chocolate that you will love so they have a short questionnaire that you fill out to let them know your preferences.

My February 2018 Chococurb! Please keep in mind that your box may vary depending on your preferences!

JCoco Bali Sea Salt Toffee In Milk Chocolate ($1.25) Jcoco makes it into this box often and they have very smooth texture and lovely rose gold foil wrappers.

Hand-harvested Bali sea salt and caramel pieces give this bar some crunch and chewiness, and the milk chocolate is rich and flavorful.

Ayurveda Inspired Artisanal Chocolate Raspberry Infused With Beetroot ($9.99) Just when I think I’ve tasted it all, here comes something new – beetroot-infused chocolate!

Let me just take a moment to show you the detail on this package. The fabric label is sewn on to the box!

Freeze-dried raspberries are sprinkled down the back of the bar. This adds such delightful flavor and a stunning punch of color.

The 70% dark chocolate is sweetened with honey instead of sugar and I couldn’t detect any beet flavor. Just a rich, berry flavorful bar.

Fran’s Chocolates Park Bar ($4.75) Fran’s is another brand that shows up frequently and they have the best caramel.

That buttery rich caramel is paired with roasted peanuts and then covered with rich milk chocolate. I have to cut this in pieces to eat since it is so rich. Did I mention it’s also rich?

Joe Chocolates Honey Almond Dark Chocolate ($6) When Joe Chocolates shows up, my daughter makes me open it up first!

There is the caffeine equivalent of two cups of coffee in each bag of this treat. Honey roasted almonds top this bar that has crunchy bits of roasted coffee beans in dark chocolate. The touch of cinnamon just sends it over the top. So delicious.

Wild Ophelia Caramelized Crispy Rice ($3.33) You know those crispy rice candy bars from when you were a kid? Yeah, these are way better than that.

Sweet milk chocolate is mixed with caramelized crispy rice, which makes the rice extra crispy. A bit of salt sent my taste buds into overdrive. Wild Ophelia is the little sister to Vosges Haut-Chocolat so you knew it was going to be awesome.

Chococurb is so good and full of uncommonly wonderful chocolates. I love this subscription and there is something for every chocolate craving I might have. I have discovered some truly remarkable chocolates through this subscription and look forward to receiving it – I never know what I’m going to get but it’s always delicious! Check out the Chococurb website for some more excellent choices for all of your chocolate needs!

What a great question Michelle! I would suggest that you reach out to Chococurb and see if they will send dark chocolate only; some subscription boxes want you to “discover” something new but in this case you already know what you like! If they won’t do dark chocolate only, may I suggest Cococlectic? They only send dark chocolate. https://boxes.hellosubscription.com/subscription-box/cococlectic/

I think I’d like to try this box…but I really only like dark chocolate. Do you think they personalize to that degree? Looks SO good!
