The Book(ish) Box is a monthly subscription of literary inspired items. Every box contains a t-shirt and 3-4 other literary items. The Bookish Box now offers the option to have a YA book included in your box! When you sign up, you’ll have the option to select one of multiple box options.

This month’s theme is Fantasy Friendships. Each item in this box comes from a story that is friendship themed. I received 6 great items this month.

DEAL: You can save $3.50 on your first box with coupon code WELCOME or save 15% on your entire subscription with coupon code HELLO.

The first item in this month’s box is a new addition to the monthly box, a calendar set! Each month, the box will include the next month’s calendar. This box came with March’s calendar and it was designed by Hey Atlas Creative. I found them very useful and I like that each one is uniquely designed. The quote on this month’s is very moving, don’t you think?

My next item is a little something  by Ink and Wonder. It is an enamel pin inspired by A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas. I love the colors. I have not read the book it was inspired by but I do believe in the motto “Home Sweet Home.” This is being adding to my growing collection of pins.

My next items are from my favorite story series, Harry Potter!!! They are a wand key chain and Leviosa bookmark by The Bookish box. I squealed when I saw these two items. I’ve always wanted a wand. Even though it is small, I am sure looking forward to casting a Leviosa spell with newest bookmark. The bookmark is copper in color and feather shaped. It is light weight which may help with my Leviosa spell. LOL!

My next item is the monthly doodle from Doodles by Christina. The artwork is awesome and really captures the sense of friendship. You color in the doodle and share it for chance to win a free box.

My next item is a luggage tag inspired by the Lord of the Ring series. It is laminated. On the front is the picture of the Hobbit hole of Bilbo Baggins. “The road goes on” is a great travel motto. What is the last trip you took with your friends? This one is going to my youngest son as he absolutely loves the Lord of the Ring series.

The next item is a Percy Jackson Bath Bomb by Pure Poetry Cosmetics. It comes in the color of the sea..aqua blue. The aroma coming off it is amazing. I can not wait to try it out. I have seen the Percy Jackson movies but I have yet to read the books. I love bath bombs. Especially ones with prizes inside and smell fantastic. What is your favorite bath bomb?

Also in my box was artwork done by artist Gabriella Bujdoso. The artwork depicts the friendship between Harry Potter and Dobby the house elf  and between Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. I found them to be remarkable. This artist has a great talent.

This month’s shirt was designed with inspiration from A Court of Wings and Ruin by the Bookish shop.

The most unlikely person can alter the course of history.

— Sarah J. Maas

This months shirt was simple and I like simple. Yes, I believe anyone can change the world even the ones that seem less likely to.

I upgraded my box to include the book! This month’s book is The Queen’s Rising by Rebecca Ross. The author’s signature is also included with the book. This is the premiere book for this author. I have just started this book and already find it intriguing. There is a mystery to be solved right from the beginning .

Brienna desires only two things: to master her passion and to be chosen by a patron. Growing up in Valenia at the renowned Magnalia House should have prepared her. While some are born with a talent for one of the five passions—art, music, dramatics, wit, and knowledge—Brienna struggled to find hers until she chose knowledge. However, Brienna’s greatest fear comes true—she is left without a patron.

Months later, her life takes an unexpected turn when a disgraced lord offers her patronage. Suspicious of his intent, she reluctantly accepts. But there is much more to his story, for there is a dangerous plot to overthrow the king of Maevana—the rival kingdom of Valenia—and restore the rightful queen, and her magic, to the throne. And others are involved—some closer to Brienna than she realizes.

Well, thanks for reading my review. I am off to read more books. Keep reading and adding pages (and friends) to the story of your life.
