Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription for men. Through it, you’ll receive 3-4 sample items that are smaller versions of what you can order from the Birchbox site. There are two versions – Birchbox Man Plus for $20 per month that includes a full-size lifestyle item, or regular Birchbox Man for $10 per month with no lifestyle item.

This is a review of the Birchbox Man Plus $20 per month box.

DEAL: While supplies last, use coupon code VITAMINS to get a FREE hims The Handsome Vitamin (30 gummy vitamins) with your first month of Birchbox Man!

The lifestyle item often doesn’t fit in the sample box.

Everything comes neatly and well contained!

Some grooming tips and tricks on the front of the card.

There’s an info card that contains a list of all the items inside the box.

Birchbox has always been about the samples, so if you are a stickler for calculating in-box value, you’ll have to do some math to figure the per ounce value. The cards show the price for the full-size version of the included items — they are available on the Birchbox site. See your box at birchbox.com/mybox.

Here are the items inside my March 2018 box.

Tooletries Mighty Toothbrush Holder ($17.99) It’s a silicone toiletry organizer that features a toothbrush holder, razor rack, and shelf for jewelry and sundries.

The back of the packaging includes information and details on how to effectively use this item.

The silicone holder is available in 5 different colors, and I got it in charcoal!

No need for suction cups, adhesive, or permanent mount. This holder can easily grip on any smooth surface such as glass, mirror, and tiles.

It’s easy to clean and also dishwasher safe. It even has custom drainage holes, so water won’t stay stagnant inside. This is a really neat item and I’m excited to put it to use.

Kiehl’s Grooming Solutions Exfoliating Body Soap ($6.86) Formulated with jojoba seed powder, this deep cleansing soap bar helps remove dead skin cells while keeping the skin moisturized.

It has a rough texture, but it lathers up really well.

It also has a relaxing scent composed of cedarwood, sandalwood, and eucalyptus notes.

Faconnable Eau De Toilette ($0.75) This woody floral musk fragrance for men was first launched in 1996. It’s refreshing without being overpowering, and it stays on for quite a long time too.

Its head notes are composed of mandarin, peppermint, and rosemary. The heart notes of this fragrance are lavender, geranium, and nutmeg. For the base, it has notes of sandalwood, cedarwood, and oakmoss.

18.21 Man Made Wash ($1.33) Formulated with amino acids and macadamia glycerides, this cleanser can be used for both the hair and the body. It washes away dirt and grime on the skin then leaves it soft and moisturized. It also conditions hair without weighing it down. It has a sweet tobacco scent which was good for me but might not be appealing for everyone. Loved how this product is total body use.

CW Beggs And Sons Energizing Moisturizer ($3.45) Claiming to be an anti-fatigue solution for men’s skin, this moisturizer is helps maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier while providing an immediate energizing and toning effect. Ingredients include has caffeine, aquaxyl, provitamin B5, and hyaluronic acid. The formula is hypoallergenic and perfume-free. It can also be used as an aftershave.

V76 By Vaughn Smooth Shave Cream ($3.80) The rich coconut oil in this shave cream is fortified with vitamin E to help nourish the skin. It also contains sweet almond oil that soothes irritation and locks in moisture. You will only need a small amount of the cream because it lathers well. The best thing about it is that it’s vegan and cruelty-free.

BirchBox Man always sends the best grooming items for everyday use. They never forget to cover the basics like the shave cream and the moisturizer, and this month they even threw in a nice cologne sample. The lifestyle item I selected is a toothbrush holder and I found it really useful in organizing my things in the bathroom and off the counter. Getting all these for $20 is such an awesome deal!
