This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzers, Lindy and Dean, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too. Check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! NEW: the heavy chewer box!

DEAL: You can get a $10 credit to the Barkshop with your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

The theme of this month’s box was ACADEMY OF FINE ARFS!

BarkBox always does a great job of making the box decor, treat and toy selections fit the theme.

Dean! Why so serious? He’s so cute!

This month’s custom paper features pup artworks in black and white!

The back of the paper is colored purple with a lot of colorful lines and dogs!

Everything in this month’s box! Our puppies came running as soon as we opened it!

Bark Paint Tube Tug ($10) This blue squeaky toy that looks like a paint tube is stuffed with fluff and attached to a t-shirt rope loop for an easy handle. The toy enhances your dog’s grip and strength as you play tug of war!

Bark Furry Frida The Squirrel ($11.33) Furry Frida’s dress features crinkles! She stands 7 inches tall, with a paintbrush held by one of her hands. She looks very cute with her lipstick and unibrow.

The toy has a big bushy tail which is stuffed with a tube squeaker inside. It squeaks quite loud!

Superior Farm Pet Provisions Lamb Esophagus Twists ($4) This lamb twist is made of 100% lamb weasand with no artificial flavoring, coloring, preservatives, and salts. It’s a great alternative to a rawhide chew!

They’re actually crunchy instead of tough, which is great even for dogs with softer gums. It was perfect for our older dog Lindy!

Bark Masterpiece Morsels ($12) These soft and chewy treats are made without wheat, corn, and soy. It’s a perfect treat or reward for dogs, especially those with sensitive tummies!

Ingredients include apples, carrots, and bananas. And the treats are actually shaped like them too!

The treats come in a resealable packaging to keep them fresh for a long time.

Soft & Chewy The Great Wave Fish Recipe With Cheese & Turmeric ($8.99) It’s a Japanese-inspired treat made in the USA with all-natural ingredients including whitefish, cheese, and turmeric.

The treats are heart-shaped, also with a heart-shaped hole in the middle.

This will definitely give your pup a taste of the sea. They’re small yet chewy, ideal whether as a treat or a reward. The dogs loved this unique flavor combo!

Dean can’t let go of his new toy. He absolutely enjoyed having it beside him!

A cartoon sketch can be found at the bottom of the box. They had us cracking up at free refills!

This month’s Bark Box was awesome! We got two packs of dog treats, a lamb esophagus stick, and two fun toys – and all of them were greatly enjoyed by Dean and Lindy. Dean particularly loved playing tug of war with me using the paint tube shaped toy! It’s a great subscription if you want to get healthy treats for dogs in generous packaging, and the toys they send are always fun and high-quality. You can even customize the subscription depending on your dog’s size so you’re sure to get the toys and treats that really suit your beloved buddy!
