Treats is a monthly snack subscription full of snacks from around the world. You can expect to receive eclectic and interesting snacks that you’ve never sampled before (unless, of course, you’ve lived in the featured country recently)! The Standard Pack offers 4-5 snacks, while the Premium box offers 8-10. This, of course, is the Premium Box. It’s quick to enroll, and you’ll get your first box within a few days of when you subscribe.

The packaging is simple and elegant. Tissue paper keeps the contents a secret until you are ready to dive in.

The box always includes a beautiful postcard welcoming us to this month’s Treats destination. Usually, it is a shot of one of the most iconic landmarks of the country. This month, it’s Neuschwanstein Castle!

The box is filled to the top with goodies! Everything comes in its original packaging, often solely in the language of the featured country – sometimes it’s just as much fun to see the unique package styling as it is to try the snacks! The box is always so full, that they don’t need to use any extra packing material.

DEAL: You can save 15% on your first month with coupon code HELLO15.

The introduction card tells a little about the snack culture and points out some of the flavors or snack styles that are popular or unique to the destination.

Treats now includes an additional card that gives, even more, info on the destination country and its culture. There is also a clue to the next destination. I think it’s Pakistan!

There’s also a recipe card for making traditional German Sausage at home! It’s a fun idea and a great way to extend your cultural experience!

There is also a handy info card that gives the name and maker of each treat, as well as a short description of each. The blurbs give you a sense of what to expect, but you’ll have to check each treat’s label (and possibly hire a translator) for more detailed info on ingredients and nutrition. Even with the card, the only way to truly appreciate everything is to taste it!

Everything in the box. The composition of each Treats collection depends on the local snacking culture, but there is usually a good mix of sweet and savory and individual and family packs.

Lorenz Salted Pomsticks ($2) This snack is made with real potatoes and baked in sunflower oil. Salted pomsticks are crunchy in texture and topped with generous seasoning, leaving an unforgettable taste that lasts in your mouth.

It looks almost the same as french fries but is lighter and crunchier.

Lorenz Saltletts ($1.69) These classic German pretzels were baked to a crispy golden hue and sprinkled with sea salt.

They’res so crunchy, light, and little salty. The combination is just marvelous. It’s the perfect snack for every occasion!

Lorenz Curly ($2.40) Corn snacks are great, and this one was made even more special as it is covered in freshly ground peanuts.

Aside from being crunchy, it’s also fluffy and light. These are sort of like old puffy Cheetos, except peanut!

Haribo Roulette Happy Cola – SIMILAR ($0.36) Instead of the traditional cola-shaped gummy, these are shaped like a button.

Although there is a change in shape, its taste is as delicious as ever. They really have an absolutely pure and delightful cola tang. One of our faves!

Milka Choco Moo ($3.23) These cookies are crunchy in texture and lightly sweet to the bite.

Each piece is cow-shaped with one side covered with mouthwatering milky chocolate.

Kinder Bueno ($1.30) This is a crispy, chocolate-covered wafer bar with a rich hazelnut cream filling.

The pack comes with two individually sealed plastic sleeves so you can eat one and save the other for later!

Milka Leo ($2.50) More chocolaty goodness! This tasty wafer is layered with cream fillings and covered in a thick coat of milk chocolate. It really satisfied my chocolate cravings!

At first sight, I thought it was similar to Kit Kat, but the taste is definitely chocolatier and yummier! Like all European candy, but most especially German candy!

Milka Caramel Waves ($1.87) This chocolate bar is half milk chocolate and half white chocolate.

It is sprinkled with caramel beads for an additional kick of sweetness and flavor experience.

The back of the chocolate bar is so smooth. Both sides are really rich and delicious.

Kinder Chocolate Bars ($17.33) From the same makers as Kinder Bueno, these individually wrapped chocolate sticks have a creamy milk filling.

The packaging features Despicable 3 characters. My kids really love the minions!

The milky filling is so addicting. It is best eaten frozen!

Hachez Rose Milk Chocolate: This is an example of a fine milk chocolate. It’s thin yet so creamy!

It contains natural ingredients only. No emulsifier, no artificial flavoring, so no wonder it tasted so good!

We totally destroyed this box! My 9-year-old remarked how pleasant it was to have the salty treats to complement the chocolate and we couldn’t agree more. This is a great subscription if you love snacking and exploring various flavors from around the world. I wonder where Treats will be taking our tastebuds next month!
