The magnets are strong — maybe too strong! The little magnets are so powerful that they cracked one of the embedded metal disks and pulled it out of the plastic stay. Not as durable as all-metal sets, so I’m glad the tin included four pairs of stays.

It has a convenient ID holder inside. The “magic” part of the wallet has to do with the arrangement of the elastic straps. To utilize this, just place the card or receipt inside, flip it over, and they’ll come securely strapped inside!
Also, there are four outside RFID protected pockets for your cards. I love the look of the black cross-hatched leather with the red accent seams and trim.
Versace Dylan Blue Fragrance ($6.90) It’s a masculine and powerful scent, containing the exquisite qualities of natural citrus, aquatic notes, and violet leaves that are combined with modern hints of fig leaf to give a Mediterranean-inspired freshness. The classic bottle features bright blue and gold that guards the precious new fragrance and the design of painted glass reinterprets the color blue as an allusion to the Mediterranean Sea. The box includes two 5 ml bottles. The fragrance is nice, with a fresh and floral presence.
Baxter Under Eye Complex ($28) This treatment is created specifically for men, immediately minimizing puffiness and dark circles. Over time, the cream also helps smooth and tone the delicate skin around the eyes. I have a feeling I’m going to need a lot of this.

IntelliWHITE Pen & Mouth Guard ($59.75) This is a no-drip Peroxide whitener that stays in place by utilizing a special sticky formula. It doesn’t contain alcohol and delivers a detailed application.
It can be used on veneers, caps, and crowns. It promises to make your teeth 6 shades lighter after 4 days and 8 shades after a week. The black string sticking out of the top is attached to a plug sealing the interior liquid chamber, and it is meant to be pulled out prior to use. My pen suffered some kind of leakage, as it was covered in the treatment gel before I even opened it!
The Maxim Box is a great subscription box for men as it provides a lot of practical and useful stuff for everyday use. Many of the items in this month’s box will lessen any man’s worries about looking and smelling great. I’m super-psyched about the portable charger and RFID-blocking wallet, too. They’ve done a superb job of selecting items that are useful to just about any man, and I like that they chose grooming products that are straight-forward and simple to use.
