Every month Target launches non-subscription Target Beauty Boxes.  Depending on the contents, they are themed and cost $5-10, and sell out quickly!

This box is sold out.

This box’s theme is Clean Beauty That Works!

There’s also a $5 off on Honest Beauty purchase of $20.

This month a separate sheet was included with complete ingredients.

Everything in the box!

Honest Beauty Younger Face Deep Hydration Cream– 0.17 fl. ($5.60) Daikon radish seed oil supports your skin’s natural moisture barrier, and this deep hydration cream contains that skin-loving ingredient. It also has chamomile and calendula to help calm and soothe the skin. Also in the mix – baobab seed, which is rich inantioxidant vitamins A and E that help give you a glowing and dewy finish. I love that this is made without parabens, synthetic fragrances and dyes.

I will tell you that while there are no “fragrances” in this product, it is highly scented. It contains oils of lavandin, lavender, fir needle, palma rosa, geranium, patchouli, and chamomile. I would not recommend this if you prefer a no-smell face cream. It’s a heavily moisturizing cream that may not be suitable for all skin types.

Honest Beauty Everything Primer Luminous Base– 0.33 fl. ($8.24) This primer helps create smooth, conditioned, firm, and healthy-looking skin. It is infused with natural botanicals, oils and extracts. Everything Primer can also be worn on its own. This seemed to be an old product (it was chunky) and I tossed it. I wasn’t impressed with it. That being said one of our reviewers uses this product (but purchases it from Honest Beauty).

Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser– 1.0 fl. ($3.60) Honest Beauty gel cleanser is really refreshing as it doesn’t only cleanse the face leaving it soft and smooth, but also makes it feel refreshed and energized. It also has a soothing smell of chamomile and herbal notes, and it helps acne too! This cleanser was non drying and left my face feeling soft too.

Honest Beauty Everything Organic Facial Oil– 0.016 fl. ($0.58) This organic oil uses antioxidant-dense, pure seed and fruit oils including olive and apricot . It is also enriched with Vitamin E that helps restore vital moisture and neutralize free radicals. You can use the oil as a serum by itself or mix into other products to make them extra hydrating.

Honest Beauty Invisible Blurring Powder- 0.09 oz. ($3.21) Honest Beauty also provides a translucent loose powder that blends invisibly into all skin tones.

This setting and finishing perfector is formulated without talc and is helps evens complexion, blurs imperfections and softens the appearance of fine lines and pores. Unfortunately I couldn’t get over the powdery cornstarchy feel of this setting powder!

For $7, I got a good combination of skin care and make-up items with a retail value of about $21. This box definitely leaned toward the dry skin side and I thought the face powder was a total miss (not to mention the clumpy primer). With a couple tweaks this should be what Honest Beauty sends out as a free trial instead of foil packs because there was enough product to determine if you enjoyed it or not. What I liked best about this box was seeing that Target was willing to do another single brand curation like the Best of Boots box, so I’m hoping for more brand takovers like this one!
