Everything in my So Susan Color Curate February 2018 Bag!

Everything in this month’s bag!

Eco-Chic Makeup Bag February 2018 ($12.00) This bag has a water-resistant inner lining and a rust-resistant zipper. Printed in front is this month’s theme!

I love the floral exterior of the bag!

Jelly Pongpong Cupid’s Arrow Powder Brush ($24) The brush is designed with thick nylon fibers that make for an even application. It can be used with mineral foundations and powder products to create a smooth look.

I love the multi-colored rainbow bristles and the airbrushed ombre handle! It reminds me of a unicorn!

Eye Smolder Gel Liner Wand In Good Intentions ($24) This richly-pigmented gel-based shadow liner wand is made of cantaloupe fruit extract and tomato seed oil that helps condition skin and gives boost on natural radiance. Good Intentions is a rosy color with a metallic finish.

So Susan Cashmere Matte Long-Lasting Matte Lipstick In Chesnut ($21) It’s a long-lasting lippie that delivers a beautifully creamy color with an opaque, mousse-like finish. I got it in Chestnut, which is a matte brown-red.

The colors are great for the new year!

! Neither product contains mineral oil, parabens, or phthalates. They are also hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

The liner effortlessly glides on the lash line and, by smudging immediately after application, you can easily achieve a smoky effect. However, my liner had the tip broken easily. I contacted So Susan about it and they said that this wasn’t typical (and it’s not, in my experience) and another one is on the way!

This lippie is also uniquely soft and weightless, with a subtly scented formula. It is packed with coenzyme Q10 and yeast-derived silk protein that helps fight the signs of ageing by deeply hydrating the lips and making them look supple and luscious. I extended the lippie all the way for this review so you can see that there is typically a full amount of product – these aren’t fake full sizes.

Triffle Cosmetics Angel Cake – Divine Glow-Enhancing Palette ($42) Angel Cake glow palette consists of 4 creamy, light-refracting shades that when combined will lend your cheeks a beautiful blush and glow.

It is made with micro-fine pearl pigments that play with the light to define and highlight for a complexion-boosting radiance.

The colors are also blended with cocoa butter, wild strawberry, and sugar maple extracts. These ingredients are packed with anti-oxidants that helps moisturize the skin.

Here are all four shades in the palette:

  • Lime Jelly – Citrus Green Delight
  • Syrup Sponge – Bronzy Glimmer
  • Bonbon – Soft Mauve Pearlescence
  • Blueberry Muffin – Foiled Violet

The palette itself is like a lipgloss palette and you can go as heavy or light as you’d like and they’re all super pretty! A little dab and blending (much lighter than my swatches below) is what I would recommend.

Swatches! On the top is the eyeliner, followed by the lippie, and the palette shades. On the lips the red lipstick comes off as brick instead of brown or orange – it’s spot on.

So Susan’s February 2018 box has a mix of playful colors, especially the palette. I love the curation especially the palette as it gives new and fresh colors for the cheeks. Instead of the usual classic look, I can play with fresh colors for a new look for the new year. I was disappointed with the broken liner but was thrilled with their quick customer service response. It’s a great subscription for its price and the cute bag makes it extra fun every month!
