Simple Loose Leaf is a monthly tea box, which delivers four hand selected, loose-leaf teas each month. Subscriptions start at $9.

There’s a card containing some information about each tea. I find these tidbits of information so much fun, who knows when Jeopardy will have a tea category.

DEAL: Get $2 off on any order, tea subscription or tea store purchase! Use coupon code HELLOSUB. OR Get 4 months free with a 12 month subscription! Use coupon code TEATIME12.

Reusable Tea Bags. I have become a firm believer in these, they make my eco-friendly heart happy. They are so much simpler than using a tea ball and I have little to no residue in the bottom of my cup.

Namring Estate Darjeeling. A scrumptious black tea that brews a a bold cup of tea.

Slightly spicy and sometimes described as muscatel. Don’t hesitate to drink this in the English fashion with some milk and cookies… that would be a a big yes from me.

Lavender Raspberry Herbal. I love raspberry and lavender! Both has a strong history in folk medicine for boasting the immune system and pretending the heart by decreasing inflammation, increasing metabolism and regulatng hormones.

It’s so much more than just a medicinal tea. Add some raw honey to really supercharge the taste and health benefits.

Chino Mate. You can drink this with milk or alone, either way it’s great.

It can warm you up during a cold night. I love the cinnamon scent.

Chinese Jade Sencha. This is a tea flavor that can be adjusted by changing the brewing time.

I love a tea that changes with temperature and brewing time. No milk or sugar needed for a great cup of tea with this one.

Simple Loose Leaf Tea is a great way to try many different teas without splurging on something you might dislike. I love that there is little filler and everything is neatly packed. The more I use loose leaf tea the more I like them, they have a much better flavor than ordinary tea bags found in the grocery store. I am having so much fun tasting teas and knowing that they help folks with developmental disabilities gain employment. Let’s take bets on next month’s flavors!

What do you think of this month’s box?
