First peek!

I received 2 full-sized products from Luxe Botanics!

Harnessing the skin-transforming powers of active exotic botanicals, selected based on scientific performance and sustainability, we create potent, regenerative beauty elixirs that are conscientiously crafted with plant-powered innovation.

The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.

I thought the packaging of these two items was spot-on; sleek, simple, yet elegant.

Everything in my February Pearlesque Box! Both products this month are from the Camu range, which are formulated to help brighten skin. All of the items from Luxe Botanicals are cruelty-free and vegan.

Camu Brightening Mist ($32) Camu camu is a berry from the Amazon and it is a high source of Vitamin C. The mist has a base of Damask rose water, camu camu extract, hyaluronic acid, and 10 different essential oils, including rose wood and cedar. You can spray it directly on your face when you need a lift. I sprayed it into my hands and then spread it on my face after cleansing. I followed with the serum shown below. The mist smells like rose water.

Camu Brightening Serum ($85) The serum has camu camu as the first ingredient, and also contains black and green tea extracts, rooibos extract, and several essential oils. It is supposed to even skin tone, repair damage, and help skin glow. I placed two pumps of this non-greasy cream serum into my palm and massaged it in, which for my dry skin didn’t take very long. I followed it with my usual moisturizer. The scent was very light and natural.

Pearlesque Box is one of my favorite monthly subscriptions! Not only do they send non-toxic, natural skin care items, they send full-sized products so you can get a good feel for the featured line. I have discovered several new-to-me skin care lines, such as Luxe Botanics, and I always feel good about using the products on my face and body. The February box had a value of $117 – and only cost $39.95! I think these two items will easily last for the next two months, so I feel like the value was well worth the price.

FYI – The March box will feature items from Paris-based C.Lavie Cosmetiques!
