Surprise, Halloween is the theme for October’s SnackFever.  I can’t wait to get into this month’s treats. I hope there are no tricks.

Here’s a look at all of the SnackFever swag you can get, depending on your subscription. And, don’t forget to share your Snack Fever love using #SnackFever on social media.

OMG! Where do I begin??? For a full list of contents in each size box, click here. To see all of our SnackFever reviews (Brandy covers the Original box review), click here.

Nong Shim | Spicy Chicken Potato Chips: The original KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) but in chip form. I didn’t get a lot of the fried chicken flavor, but the spice was there. These are a little sweeter than expected. I don’t think I’ll reach for these as my go-to chip, but they are OK if you want a spicy/savory snack.

Haitai | Oh Yes! Orange (x2): I really like the soft spongy goodness of the original Oh Yes! snack cakes and was excited to try these. After all, chocolate and orange is a classic flavor combination. The orange creme filling didn’t overpower the chocolate, and I was glad that there were 2 in the box!

Lotte | Ice Cream Bar Lollipops: Um, I’ve never had Jaws (yes, that’s what the lollipop on the right says) or watermelon ice cream bars before, so I didn’t have anything to compare the flavors to. What I will say is that these lollipops were the size of hard candies and a perfect little fruity bite.

Milk Caramel (x3): I like Korean caramels for their milky flavor and soft texture. These didn’t disappoint.

Lotte | YANGDDING x ACAU Mystery Egg: This Kinder-like Mincecraft themed egg is inspired by 2 Korean YouTube gamers, Yanggding and Acau. Let’s see what’s inside…

Inside the egg was a pack of building blocks and a small candy package. Sorry, I gave this to a friend’s son and didn’t get to see the finished toy.

Samlip | Nuneddine: So, let me start by saying that the oppas at Snack Fever did not describe these correctly. I guess that was a Halloween trick? The SF blog says that these contain chocolate. That’s a big no – it’s actually caramel. After getting over my taste shock, I did enjoy these cracker/cookie treats. The texture was very flaky with caramel throughout.

Here’s a closer look at the Nuneddine. You can see the layers and lack of chocolate here.

Lotte | Crunchy Waffles – Milk Melon: Two of my top Korean sweet treats are milk melon popsicles and hard candies. So, I tore into these very quickly. I thought the milk melon creme was a little too sweet but the melon flavor was apparent. I’d give these a 6 out of 10.

Darda | Super Mix Popcorn: This little container had a mix of strawberry, chocolate, and caramel popcorn inside. I had to wrestle a few pieces from my sister after she stole this from me. Totally yummy! Plus, I love the Lichtenstein-esque art.

Lotte | Crunky Dark Cookie Bar: We love Crunky bars in our house. This one was like an Oreo cookie rolled in mini chocolate chips. What is there not to like about this?!?

Lotte | YoHi: If you’re a fan of Wanna One, then you probably recognized Ha Seong-Un immediately. From what I can tell, each of the 11 members is part of the packaging series. Back to the treat, these are yogurt creme filled biscuits, typical of many “cookie” treats. Not overly sweet, these are good on their own or with a cup of tea.

Lotte | Choco Malang: Another description fail on these. It says that they are chocolate covered dried apples. Nope, these are apple flavored gummies covered in chocolate. Honestly, I would have preferred the gummy center without the chocolate, but that’s just me.

Lotte | Hot & Spicy Almonds: Buldakk ramen was viral for a while with the spicy noodle challenge. Well, these almonds take that same spice mix and apply them to almonds. The heat creeps up on you and hits at the back of the throat on the finish. My suggestion – eat these while enjoying an icy cold beer. They’re a good bar snack.

** SNACK FEVER SWAG **

BTS Stickers: I laughed so hard I cried when I saw this BTS take on Harry Potter. It’s just too much. I CAN’T EVEN.

Halloween Tattoo Sticker Set:  Halloween or Valentine’s… these little hearts work for both occasions.

Snack Fever Halloween Stickers: Happy Halloween (Jack-o-Lantern) /  It’s full of candy! (Count Mandoo) / Trick or Treat (Ghost King)

Zzemy | Moisture Point Mask Pack: Got some dry patches that could use a little mask therapy? Then that’s where you can place these small hydrating patches. This pack features a music loving black cat, perfect for Halloween.

This month’s Snack Fever box was full of treats and only a few tricks. I love the variety of items that come in each box and am always surprised to discover at least one new-to-me snack. I can’t wait to see what comes for Thanksgiving.
