Macy’s Beauty Box is a monthly subscription that delivers five deluxe beauty samples, one bonus item, and a collectible cosmetics bag for $15 per month. Beauty Box subscribers also get an exclusive $5 beauty coupon that can be use online and in-store.

Each month comes with a Macy Beauty Box booklet. The theme this month is PICTURE PERFECT.

There is an exclusive $5 coupon at the back of the booklet. These coupons aren’t stackable from one month to the next. BUT there’s free shipping on all Macy’s Beauty orders. Check out these categories sorted from low to high price: Bath & Body, Natural BeautyMakeup, Skincare, and Travel-size.

This month I picked up the Burt’s Bee’s Coconut & Pear lip balm duo for 80¢ after coupon. I actually found a few $5 items but got checkout errors – even though their system states a $5 minimum to use the coupon.

The information booklet gives you a list of all the items included in the box.

Everything in the February 2018 Macy’s Beauty Box!

Believe in your #selfie Makeup Bag A pink medium sized pouch with zipper that can fit most, if not all, of the make up you may need. The design is a motivational text design that is printed in black while the heart is printed in metallic gold. I love the super hot pink!

Tony Moly I’m Real Rose Vitalizing Sheet Mask ($3) This 3 layer pulp sheet mask has been soaked in different kinds of essences like water and milky lotion for maximum hydration. You just have to leave it on for 20mins to get refreshed and healthy skin. Only natural ingredients were used in this mask and rose is totally appropriate for a February box.

Coach Fragrance Floral Eau De Parfum ($3.48) Coach has created a floral perfume that is embodies a very feminine scent. It is a mixture of pineapple sorbet, crystal musk, and a touch of pink peppercorn for a very subtle free spirited feel.

It comes with it’s own info card that explains further what this perfume is all about – it’s inspired by the tea rose bag tag and it’s a new launch!

Tarte Fake Awake Eye Highlight ($10) Add some highlight and brighten the eyes with this highlighter from Tarte. It’s highly pigmented with a matte finish to make the eyes look bigger so that they look well rested. It can also be used in the inner corner of the eye or on the brow bone to brighten the eyes even more. It glides on supersmooth (a total must for the waterline placement that’s needed for this optical illusion) and the end result is that you really look bright eyed and bushy tailed! This sample is half of the full size, which is a score!

Dior Lip Glow Color Reviver Samples + Mini Brush (~$7 – each of these samples are 0.3g) These lip balms from Dior moisturize and hydrate lips while giving them a sheer tint with color changing balm. I was a little put off when I saw another pillowpack of samples but I have to say that my sampling experience left me impressed!

There are 3 shades that were included in the sample as well as a mini brush for application. From left to right the shades are Pink, Matte Raspberry, and Holo Pink.

Here are the swatches of the lip balm and the highlighter. Each lip balm has its own finish – original glow with a glossy shine, matte glow, and holo! I loved all three, wish there was more, and am definitely thinking about purchasing!

Philosophy Ultimate Miracle Worker Fix ($13.60) This miracle eye cream has vitamin C and caffeine that brings out the best in the eyes and SPF for protection against the sun’s harmful rays. It reduces the puffiness in the eyes from sleepless nights so you can look refreshed and well rested after continuous use. Since philosophy says you can see results in 2 weeks I was happy that this sample was 20% the full size.

It! Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser ($3.36) I was pumped that this was in the box because It! Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands. This facial cleanser cleanses and rejuvenates with anti-aging collagen and hyaluronic acid to moisturize so it feels soft and smooth after every wash. It’s really gentle but removes most makeup!

This may be my favorite Macy’s Beauty Box yet.  I love the Dior lip balms and I think they were really worth sampling! The total value of this month’s bag was about $41. This puts it on par with Ipsy, but I wish they would knock off the $5 coupon and make this a $10 beauty bag. That being said, I think the pricing is much more realistic than Ipsy, which often features unknown items that you’ve only ever seen in an Ipsy bag. Everything in this beauty subscription box is from a prestige brand that you have heard of and that you can purchase at Macy’s!

I’m in love with the Dior Lip Addicts line!! I’ve been doing a little research and it seems the sugar scrub runs about 30$ and the other ones in the foil packs are about the same maybe a few dollars more. I’ve never been able to justify spending that much on a lip product but after my samples are gone I’m going to have to buy the full size. They are great!

I couldn’t agree more. I was hoping there might be some sort of gift set around Mother’s Day but I’ll probably cave before then.
