Loot for Her: EXCLUSIVE Dark Crystal Poncho. First, let me tell you that I have a Dark Crystal obsession, so I was really anticipating this month’s item. It’s a blue-green poncho featuring a purple crystal in front!
For those who are not familiar, Dark Crystal is a fantasy-adventure film by Jim Henson.
Jen, raised by the noble race called the Mystics, has been told that he is the last survivor of his own race, the Gelflings. He sets out to try to find a shard of the dark crystal, a powerful gem that once provided balance to the universe. After the crystal was broken, the evil Skeksis used sinister means to gain control. Jen believes that he can repair the dark crystal and bring peace back to the world, if he can only find the remaining shard.
I’ve really been hoping that it will be remastered soon and am DELIGHTED that the January Jim Henson Loot Wear avalanches seem to be coming with a remastered version in a month!
This poncho is so comfy and it’ll surely keep me warm (and nerdy!) until we’re done with the cold weather. It even has pockets!
There is another print at the back featuring Kira, a female Gelfling that resides in the alien world. She has a super long hair and she’s holding a shard of the crystal. Gelffffliiiing.
I love this poncho! Everything about it is awesome, from the color to the material and to the design. Dark Crystal just marked its 35th anniversary last December, and it was such an amazing idea to celebrate it with a stylish poncho. Loot For Her made me really happy this month! If you are also into nerdy wearables, this subscription is a must-try!
