The bottom of the box features a quote from Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure!

Be excellent to each other.

The box comes with a tri-fold booklet.

The theme this month is DISCOVER DX!

The booklet gives you a list of all the items in the box. It’s super sturdy and has a nice premium feel.

All the Loot Crate DX goodies this month!

Clue (The Board Game) Murder Weapons Pins Set. Clue is a popular murder-mystery board game, and this month’s pin features some of the original weapons in the game.

We got a candlestick, a lead pipe, and a wrench!

Bill & Ted Wyld Stallyns Raglan Tee. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure was released in 1989, so that explains all gnarly nostalgia we’re getting from this rad concert-style raglan!

It features the Band Wyld Stallyns logo along with two fiery stallions from their Temporal Tour in 1988!

They’re surely WYLD if they got to perform during the Peloponnesian war between Athens and Sparta!

My personal feelings on this epically rad shirt? I could have a Bill & Ted shirt subscription box and be perfectly happy! I was pumped!

WestWorld Dolores SuperEmoFriends Plush ($9.95) J Salvador brought yet another masterpiece to be added on his SuperEmoFriends line, and it’s Dolores Abernathy from WestWorld!

Dolores is the oldest active Host in WestWorld.

Her primary narrative in the beginning of season one is an archetypal rancher’s daughter in the American Wild West of the 19th century. Up until recently, she has been satisfied with her “little loop.” However, she discovers that her entire existence is an elaborately constructed lie. She begins to learn her own strength, breaking from her ‘damsel in distress’ role.

There’s a fly on her face, and the plushie captures her blonde hair. However, her eyes were shut closed so we can’t see her blue eyes.

She’s wearing her signature light blue striped long-sleeved shirt, scarf, and belt and you can see her true nature.

This is her costume when she entered Pariah, a dusty old town built on decadence and transgression, away from her old ranch life. The details of the plushie are so accurate!

The Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History ($25?)

Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History is the definitive collection of rare artwork, interviews, and on-set photos from the beloved Jim Henson fantasy classic.

A true masterpiece brought to life by the ingenious puppetry and peerless storytelling of Jim Henson, Dark Crystal is revered by an entire generation of fans. For the first time, this deluxe and highly comprehensive book tells the complete story of this deeply personal Henson project, highlighting the unique creative journey and groundbreaking techniques that brought the film to the screen. Drawing from unseen archive interviews with Jim Henson and new interviews with the film’s behind-the-scenes creative team, Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History leaves no stone unturned in chronicling the entire production, from the initial concept based on themes close to Henson’s heart to the ingenious conceptual design, puppet construction, and logistics of the shoot itself. The book also delves into the wider world of Dark Crystal, exploring the creation of comics, novels, and other official projects inspired by the film.

This deluxe coffee-table book contains an in-depth look at the day-to-day production of the film and showcases a huge range of incredible visuals, including candid set photography, previously unseen concept art, storyboards, production notes, and more. The book also features a plethora of amazing removable items, such as script pages, notes and sketches from Henson, and other unique treasures. Definitive, enthralling, and revelatory, Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History is the last word on an enduring modern classic and the book that fans of the film have been waiting for.

This hardbound read is for the die-hard fans of the film, a.k.a. me! It’s licensed by The Jim Henson Company and is a smaller version than the commercially released book and does not have the inserted ephemera (they are printed on the pages).

The book has some wonderful artworks and photos from the creators of the magical motion-picture.

The Great Conjunction is said as the end of the world or the beginning of it.

The Great Conjunction is the event that occurs when the three suns of Thra- The Great Sun, The Rose Sun, and The Dying Sun – align in the sky. The alignment of the suns form an intense beam of light that shines directly onto The Crystal.

The book features how the set, character costumes, and other props are wonderfully made. I can’t help but geek out!

Those are really massive props that requires a lot of hard work and creativity!

There’s even a movie poster in German! Don’t forget they finally remastered this masterpiece, check it out here.

Quantum Mechanix Harry Potter Harry’s First Spell Q-Figure ($15) We’re really excited about this figure that we got from QMx because it’s none other than Harry Potter!

Even the box looks awesome!

The figure also includes a word bubble where we can write our own phrases, spells, or even sound effects.

Wingardium Leviosa! It’s Levi-O-sa, not Levio-SA!

Harry stands at 3.37 inches, base not included. And look at his glasses, it’s so cute!

The younger version of Harry looks really endearing. I love the effect on his Gryffindor scarf, it looks like a strong wind is blowing.

His messy hair is actually his signature style!

This stance of Harry looks perfect for a wizard duel, or fighting against some Death Eaters? I guess it’s too early for that so I’ll just say “Riddikulus”!

I was extremely excited for this month’s box when I found out from the spoilers that it would include a Harry Potter, Dark Crystal, and Bill & Ted’s item. And they didn’t disappoint! The figure is so cute with all the details and the word bubble where we can write whatever we want. I’m obsessed with Dark Crystal, so the behind-the-scenes glossy book is an instant favorite. I just love reading everything and looking at the photos! Overall, Loot Crate is a great geeky box for the old and young alike as they feature not just items from new series or franchises, but from old fandoms too. After a few off months I feel like DX is getting back to being a premium box and it seems their shipping problems are improving a bit.
