I received twelve nail polish colors in the Intro Box. There are different variations in color, some are metallic and some are glittery.
I was excited when I opened the box and saw this lot. I love nail polish and having 12 additional colors to play and mix and match with just made me giddy.
Julep polishes come clear nail polish bottles with glossy black caps. They are small rectangular bottles and they are PERFECT for polish hoarders because you can pack a lot in a small space.
Magdalene ($14) This is a metallic blue nail polish that reminds me of beautiful mermaids and their tails!
Barb ($14) If you want a dark nail color but you’re already tired of black, I recommend this bluish grey polish color.
Princess Grace ($14) For people with bold tastes, this orange polish is a must-try. Once you’ve put it on, it’s not too loud but it will definitely catch some attention.
Janice ($14) It’s a glitter polish that can make your nails stand out. It can be worn on its own or as the top coat to another color for an added sparkle.
Daylee ($14) This gold shimmer polish is something that may not be worn as often but is elegant enough for formal events.
Talia ($14) Another shimmer polish, but this time with a violet hue. It’s perfect for dinner or evening events.
Demi ($14) It’s a vibrant red nail polish with a creme finish. One thick coat is enough for it to be opaque!
Florentina ($14) This one’s a rust red shade with a metallic twist. The color is warm, which would’ve been perfect for fall but still awesome for winter.
Jessie ($14) The mixture between red and purple was made to produce a dark shade. It’s the perfect kind of dark for me!
Kaitlyn ($14) On the bottle it looks like purple, but when applied this nail polish looks more like a dark raspberry.
Alonna ($14) This dark shimmer violet polish reminds me of the queen villains from fairy tales. I love it!
Dora ($5) For the last purple polish, it’s similar to Kaitlyn but a little darker and with added shimmer.
It’s always hard to try on nail polish because it can’t be easily removed. So having a Swatch Me portion on the top of the cover is really helpful. Detach the black cover from the applicator and apply a small amount of polish to see how it looks like.
We tried it out and it’s pretty easy, just apply a coat or two of the nail polish and let dry. My 9 year old daughter can do it too (this box is also a PERFECT subscription for tweens and teens).
We swatched every color from the box and here’s what they look like.
The colors from this box are very vivid and is a great start for a collection of nail polishes. They are highly pigmented and there’s surely one for every season and occasion.
I have to say, I was impressed and overwhelmed with this gorgeous collection. I admit that I like the some colors better than the others. Maybe it’s time to experiment and reinvent a little — or a lot!
