I even love the packaging for this box — such a perfect mid-century modern feel!

A short note from Betty Boomerang herself. In every box, she shares another adventure she had courtesy of her time-traveling bathroom.

The theme this month is In Love with Midcentury.

The information card comes with the list of items, their retail price, and a short description. Some items are even created especially for Betty to share with her subscribers!

Everything in my January 2018 Betty Boomerang box!

Valentine By Daniel Brannan ($3) Sending a card to tell someone how you feel about them never gets old. This card came just right in time before Valentine’s! The design is fun and cute! We sent it to our grandma who was so delighted so posted it on Facebook!

Besame Lipstick Matches ($3) As a social share bonus item, I got a great touch-up set of lip color housed in a vintage matchbox.

The matchbox contains five rich, high-pigmented lipsticks and each lip color has a rounded tip, for single-use application.

The lippies contains moisturizing squalene, nourishing vitamin C, and calming aloe. It delivers full, highly-pigmented color with a smooth finish in just one swipe. So perfect to take with us to the Sock Hop!

Chocxo Modern Chocolate ($4) Inside this black box are two luscious chocolate treats!

Both are salted delights! The chocolate chunk with a purple design is hazelnut, while the blue one is caramel.

There is also an info sheet containing a brief description about the treats, and the other variants available.

Just looking at the photo descriptions makes me want to indulge in these treats.

Amber Leaders Paper Flowers ($5.99) These flowers definitely won’t wilt!

The paper flowers comes with a wire stem, so you can attach them anywhere you want or make them stand in a vase.

Magpie Vase With Stopper ($23) This glass pair would make a great table centerpiece. Both are eye-catching because of their bright orange color!

The vase has curved edges and a straight neck.

Meanwhile, the stopper is enormous, it looks like a flask when it stands alone.

We tried putting the paper flowers in the vase, and they look so retro together.

This would really look nice whether on a center or a side table. I think I will start my baby’s aesthetic sensibilities off right and display this in the nursery.

Another item wrapped fancily, using the retro chair washi tape we have previously received.

Vintage Enamel Flower Pin ($13) This flower pin is so cute. It’s the perfect accent to a wool winter coat.

It has a retro-looking pin at the back.

I love the mix of blue shades on this accessory!

I love the texture!

There’s also a digital bonus from this box.

I’m impressed with all the items Betty Boomerang sent me this month. We know that anything retro or vintage looks awesome, and who doesn’t love the feeling of nostalgia they bring? My favorites this month are the vase and stopper set and the lipstick matches! Retro-lovers will be happy with this curation — I certainly am! This is one of my personal favorite boxes, and anyone who is in to midcentury modern will totally be a fan!

Apparently the matchbox items are becoming popular. I saw one with pencils and you can sharpen them where you would normally strike matches.

Besame is awesome! I have a few of their lipsticks – Red Velvet is the lipstick Peggy Carter wears in the Agent Carter series. 😀
