This month’s theme is Crown Chakra. The jewelry are designed to help balancing the Crown Chakra to bring a sense of joy, peace and serenity.
At the back of the card, there’s a list of the items.
All the items in the box. The jewelry comes in little organza drawstring bags.
Amethyst Necklace ($39). This is a cute and simple necklace. The beads are quite small, about 4mm, making it a very light a small necklace compare to the malas and other pieces of jewelry we usually get in our Yogi Surprise box. I’m not complaining as the size of the beads works well with the idea of serenity and calm associated with the Crown Chakra. It’s also light enough that you are not weighed down by it when meditating. Amethyst is a very strong stone associated with the Crown Chakra and keeps bad energy away from its wearer. It also is the perfect stone for meditation.
The silver colored pendant represents the one thousand petal lotus, the symbol of the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara).
Amethyst Bracelet ($32). I like when we get a matching bracelet with the necklace, not necessarily to wear them together, but because you can then choose how to enhance your practice. This bracelet is so small and light! It also uses 4mm sized beads, so it’s perfect to wear with other bracelet. On top of all the amethyst beads making the base of the bracelet, you have an extra 8 beads seprated by gold colored beads. Each of these colored beads represents a different chakra, with the eighth bead (clear quartz) enhancing the vibration of each. You have an amethyst (separated from the other amethyst), lapist lazuli, turquoise (I think it’s a synthetic one on this bracelet, but I can’t be sure with the size of the beads), aventurine, citrine, carnelian and garnet.
Even on my small wrist it looks quite small and subtle. My bracelet is too wide so it easily slip of my arm, but it’s easily fixed by removing some of the beads.
Together, they make a nice set!
Raaka Green Tea Crunch ($10). This chocolate bar is made with 66% not roasted cacao, and contains toasted brown rice and puffed quinoa to give it some crunch. It’s a very rich and flavorful chocolate and the crunch is nice and makes it lighter. I didn’t taste the green tea flavor that much though.
Even though the bar is not split in squares, it’s easily shareable.
Next month’s will feature the “Love Yourself” Heart Mala with Rose Quartz and rhodonite beads. On the picture, it looks like it will also have Rudraksha beads (I would love that!)
The jewelry in the January’s box were fun and simple. You don’t need to wear statement jewelry all the time, and these ones will help us to focus our attention back to ourselves and open up our Crown Chakra.
