The Winter 2017 Popsugar Must Have Men’s Limited Edition Box was a one-time box offered by POPSUGAR filled with an assortment of items perfect for summer season curated by the editors of POPSUGAR!
This box is still available for $60.
If you’re unfamiliar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is a monthly women’s subscription box. In the regular monthly box, you’ll receive items from a mix of categories like beauty, home, accessories, jewelry, etc. It’s one of the most popular subscription boxes around!
The updated branding for the Limited Edition boxes is modern and fabulous!
This box came with the box inside the biggest item!
The special man in your life deserves items to keep him dapper this holiday season. From easy to use self care products to stylish accessories, he’ll be thrilled to receive these handy gifts he would never think to buy for himself, delivered right to his door.
The information card was a 4-part foldout that details the idea of the box.
It contains all the information on the items in the box.
I also love unwrapping all the items individually – it makes it feel really special. Everything is packaged up in retail packaging – most of it is perfectly giftable!
Everything in the box!
Will Leather Goods Pebble Slimfold Wallet ($110) This sleek wallet is a POPSUGAR exclusive item.
It came packed in a box with an $80 price tag. POPSUGAR says that a higher caliber of leather was used to produce the wallet and it was incorrectly packaged in that box, but there’s no way to really know.
It features a debossed cow icon logo in front.
Inside is single billfold compartment, an ID card slot with mesh cover, and two slots for credit cards.
Aviator Nation Vintage Bold Trucker Hat ($44.99) The trucker hat trend is back, but this one didn’t really impress me. It features a lighting bolt design in front, which is kind of generic.
The hat is adjustable, but it’s not really my style.
Related Garments Camouflage & Polka Dot Sock Combo Sets ($40) Included in the box are four pairs of socks with polka dots and camouflage designs.
These high socks have a snug fit and would look great with boots.
Meanwhile, these low socks would be great with sneakers.
The quality is awesome, it’s just that I wasn’t expecting four pairs of socks to be in a limited edition box. Our 7 year old would love those blue camo socks in his size though!
Wild & Wolf Limited Edition Poker Set ($30) This poker set comes in a boldly designed tin container.
It includes a full set of chips and two packs of cards, suitable for 2 to 10 players.
We’ve been excited to play Texas Hold ‘Em games, but the quality of the playing mat was quite disappointing. It’s made of super thin felt that I wouldn’t even buy for a kids craft – it’s definitely not play-worthy.
Govino Whiskey Glasses ($17.95) These are shatterproof glasses made of BPA-free and BPS-free polymer.
We received four glasses. After using, you can toss the glasses in the top-rack of your dishwasher and use them again.
Unique features of this glass include a patented ergonomic thumb-notch and a contoured base which provides a secure grip when swirling. We aren’t particular fans of Govino, but my wife’s family sure is! Her grandpa has an entire set of wine glasses and now her uncle has a portable set of whisky glasses. I prefer to drink out of glass but they love them.
V76 by Vaughn 4-in-1 Cleansing Foam ($22) This multi-tasking formula is packed with bamboo stem extract, coconut oil, and menthol. It’s a shave cream, a facial cleanser, a shampoo, and a body wash in one. It has a sensual and spicy scent called desert lime, which has notes of basil, lime, thyme, eucalyptus, ginger, and vetiver. The cleansing foam was also formulated without parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, petroleum, or gluten.
Vosges Haut-Chocolat Smoke & Stout Chocolate Bar ($8) This luscious chocolate bar is made with Rogue’s Chocolate Stout beer, Alderwood smoked salt, burnt sugar caramel and 70% cacao dark chocolate.
The intense flavors make it a unique treat. It’s fair-trade and non-GMO too!
It has a rich and chocolaty aroma with delicious coffee undertones.
There was a crisp pop when I snapped the bar, which means it’s a well-tempered product.
The theme of this box was supposed to be dapper, but it appeared that Popsugar changed it to a warm, cozy, fun theme. Also, it didn’t feel luxe at all with FOUR pairs of socks, no break whiskey glasses (a.k.a. disposable), and weird generic trucker hat. The gaming mat with the poker is super thin felt and low quality. The curation is what a high maintenance woman thinks guys like, but she has no idea. This box was disappointing – and it was an even bigger disappointment to find it on sale for $60!
