Play! by Sephora is a monthly subscription box that brings only the best and exclusive Sephora beauty and makeup samples. The subscription costs $10 per month, and you’ll get 5 deluxe beauty products, playlists,  a fragrance bonus item, plus coupons you can use when you visit in-store.

I just love the black and white sticker on this box. Every time I open it, I think it’s such a classy touch.

Your subscription also entitles you to PLAY! Date meetups if your store participates. I don’t even have a Sephora (not even a JCP one) but this box totally excites me even without those experiences. I love the high-end brands every month for just $10.

That little card is a PLAY! Pass that will get you 50 extra Beauty Insider points with a purchase from the box, in-store only.

The theme is Glam Straight!

As you open the box, you will see the 2017 Play list which gives you information or fun facts about the Play! by Sephora subscription boxes.

This fold-out poster shows a list of all the items included in this box plus beauty trivia and tips. You can access all of the information and also watch the videos right on the Sephora site or use the app to scan the sheet for more info!

Everything in my box! See the spoilers for other variations here.

The pouches are cute. What are you using yours for?

CAUDALIE Vin[Activ] Energizing and Smoothing Eye Cream ($13) First up is an anti-wrinkle eye treatment in the form of cream, a great solution for dark circles, puffiness and fine lines and wrinkles. It’s good for all skin types, from normal to sensitive skin. I love Caudalie anything, but especially their eye creams. Glam straight I was pumped for this in my box!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Rouge Lipstick Satin Finish in Fuchsia Pink ($8.80) This incredibly creamy lipstick comes in a bright and bold pink color that gives the lips a statement. It has 25% more pigment than the original Rouge Artist, Artist Rouge lipstick and it stays on for quite a while too!

LAURA MERCIER Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Au Naturel ($17.68) It’s easier to achieve a smoky eye look and to highlight or line the eyes with this eyeshadow stick. It applies smoothly, plus it layers well over or under other eye shadows. This is about 2/3 size of a $29 eyeshadow – and has an impressive value to match!

Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen in Black ($3) The eyeliner has an interesting brush pen with actual bristles that makes it easier to flick. It allows you to have the perfect cat eye that lasts all night long.

Here are the swatches! On the top is the fuschia pink lipstick, followed by eyeshadow stick and then the eyelining pen. I like their bold colors!

DRYBAR Triple Sec 3-in-1 ($2.76) The only hair product in this month’s box is a dry spray that extends blowout, creates a windblown look, and adds texture to your locks. It’s great to use when you’re on the go and need to do a quick touch up or add volume to your hair.

STELLA MCCARTNEY Stella ($5) The fragrance smells like roses. It was created in honor of the English Rose, and it’s very feminine. Aside from rose, it also has notes of peony flower, mandarin, rose absolute, and amber. It’s good that they included a fragrance, but I didn’t find it to be groundbreaking.

The bright pink lippie and nude eye made this little curation super glam indeed, especially with some oomph for my hair! I thought this was a fun holiday theme and overall I liked the box this month. With an overall retail value of about $50 and the variety of items, this is definitely a steal!
