Stay Regular Monthly Mystery Box December 2017 Subscription Box Review

The Stay Regular Monthly Mystery Box is a monthly subscription box offered by That Daily Deal. Although the themes are generally relevant to the season etc., they are not “curated” to a theme like “let’s garden!” or “let’s get physical!”

The box is huge! This company is a company that is not afraid of shipping costs. The box in the above picture is $24.99. Shipping is free!

It’s definitely wintertime here in good old sunny Florida and the items I received will come in quite handy this year. So let’s take a look.

First up is a set of Lego block style ice cube trays ($9.00 Amazon). There are 2 trays per set. The trays are silicon and can be used for ice, chocolate molding, or possibly gummy molds.

As you can see I used mine for ice. I think they came out pretty well. Next I will try gummy molds and see if they will stack.

Just in time for Christmas, a 500 piece Glow in the Dark Fairy Puzzle ($9.99 Amazon (item similar). I love puzzles. I found the picture beautiful but I have not put it together to test out the glowiness of the puzzle. Since I had not put together the puzzle, I decided to donate to Toys for Tots. I wanted a child to experience the fun of putting together a puzzle.

The next item is a little something we can all use this holiday season, a duffel bag for traveling ($31.70 Amazon). This bag is quite large at 25 inches and it has easy access to the inner compartment.

It seems to be very durable. Great bag for an overnight stay at the grandparents’ house.

If you live here, you don’t get much opportunity to wear my next item but it came in handy recently. It is a knit scarf ($12.95 Amazon). Now I did not find this particular scarf on Amazon but something similar. I couldn’t even find it on the box’s website. I found the scarf lovely and lightweight. It did not hurt that one of my favorite colors was in the design. It was wrapped in plastic when it came and had to be washed before use due to the smell that came off of it.

Another little item for Christmas was in the box, a set of icicle shaped lights ($5.99 Amazon). The lights are battery operated (AA). I did have to tinker with the wiring a bit to get them to work but they did light up.

I used them on my desk at work for decorations. I was the envy of my team. LOL!

Still no big items but I will keep looking. This box can be a bit of a hit or miss but I was happy with the items. I hope y’all had a wonderful holiday.
