Mine Chest is the one and only official subscription box for Minecraft fans! It is licensed by Mojang, and operated by Loot Crate. This box is now a $39.99 bimonthly box, US shipping included.

You’ll get a box full of Minecraft inspired goodies and official merchandise. Boxes come with a t-shirt (with a full range of youth and adult sizes available) and are packed in a collectible and reusable box. The exterior of the box usually looks like a Minecraft chest, while the inside looks like a block relating to the current month’s theme. In line with this month’s theme, the outside of the box looked just like an ender chest!

The box Be sure to check out the theme spoilers and subscribe by the 15th for the next box!

When inverted, the box transforms into a purpur block! Every month has a different block pattern that fits the theme of the box. We like the look of the boxes so much that we can’t stand to part with them, so we have a two block wide tower of them up to the ceiling in the kids’ room!

Everything in the November box!

The theme of the November box was Beyond the Portal! Each month, the theme is presented via a lenticular postcard.

The message on the back serves as the info card, which is light on item details, but it’s just like getting a card from someone living in the mysterious world of Minecraft!

Sure, it’s dark and scary, but dare to explore what lies BEYOND THE PORTAL with some of our favorite gear from the End, including an EXCLUSIVE T-Shirt, Plush and more!

Mine Chest Sticker. The sticker included in this month’s box is Eye of the Ender. Also known as an Ender Eye, it is a craftable item used to locate and activate End portals within strongholds.

Minecraft Ender Dragon Pin. The most notorious resident of The End was featured in this box — or at least his head was! This month’s pin is an awesome Ender Dragon’s head, ready for mounting.

The pins from Minechest are always of superb quality. This month’s subject isn’t very colorful (that’s okay — he gets by with his winning personality). I like the way the silver border shows between each enamel panel.

Stuffed Ender Chest. We also received a soft and stuffed Ender Chest! Ender Chest is a type of chest that can store items, and which contents can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Also, Ender Chests naturally generate in End cities. Our info postcard mentioned a purpur plush, but it looks like they settled on an ender chest, instead. I think it was a good choice.

Enderman T-Shirt. This month’s shirt design is the Enderman, a black, neutral mob from the End that has the ability to teleport. He’s portrayed a little more purple than his normal all-black. If you ever see this image during gameplay, it is probably one of the last things you’ll see.

This long-limbed, purple-eyed, darker-than-night mob is not one you want to get into a staring contest with. Usually seen in the Nether and The End, its presence is rare in the Overworld. Rarer still – players who’ve made eye contact with it and then survived to tell the tale.

Minecraft Ender Dragon Lamp. Another Mine Chest exclusive and functional item is this cool Ender Dragon lamp! For those who are not familiar, the Ender Dragon is a boss mob that appears in the end and was the first boss mob added to Minecraft.

It is a very cool lamp! It looks best against a dark background, but it’s bright enough to see even with some lights on. The kids love it, and it makes a great nightlight! The cord has a USB plug (so it’s perfect for plugging into your PC for some mood lighting while gaming), but you need a wall adapter to use it as a stand-alone lamp.

Everything in this month’s box is really Beyond the Portal, and it features some of the coolest items from The End. My favorite item for this month is definitely the Ender Dragon lamp! Every box celebrates a different aspect of the game – either a biome, beast, or survival activity, so the gear is always fresh and different. There is so much to do and explore in Minecraft (and it is constantly expanding), so I’m sure there is always something new to see in each box. It’s a great fan subscription box and my kids are really excited when it shows up.
