Love with Food is a fun snack discovery subscription available in three versions: Tasting Box, Deluxe (family size), and Gluten-Free. They also offer an Office Plan for sharing with your co-workers. I shared these snacks with my family of 3 (sometimes 4 when my daughter is home from college.) What sets this subscription apart?

  • No artificial flavoring, coloring, or MSG
  • No trans fats and hydrogenated oils
  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • Snacks are natural, organic or gluten-free

FYI, you can see our reviews of all 3 varieties of Love With Food boxes here.

DEAL: You can try Love With Food by using this link to get your first Deluxe Box for $5 off or get your first Classic Size Box for $7.99. You can also save 25% on your first Gluten-Free box by using this link. As always, Love With Food donates meals to charity with each box purchased.

Love with Food’s theme for January was Rise. There was info on how you can earn points for reviewing your snacks and then redeem your rewards points for more snacks. If you want to know more about the snacks in your box then you can go to the website and see which snacks are gluten-free, kosher, vegan, etc. You can find this month’s info here.

There were a few handouts this month with info on some of the products and even a couple of coupons and discount codes.

Everything in my box! I love to grab a snack from the box and stick it in my tote without a second thought. No Ziplocs needed and I don’t have to worry about change for the vending machine.

Hippeas Vegan White Cheddar Organic Chickpea Puffs OK, I’ve tried these before and didn’t care for them but they say you need to be exposed to new foods a few times before you like them so here goes. (I ate three puffs here.)

Nope, still don’t like them! They have a grainy consistency and a bit of an aftertaste, maybe the citric acid is messing with my tongue, I don’t know. If you are vegan and want to try something Cheeto-esque then maybe this is for you but I think I will pass.

I received two bags of Route 11 Dill Pickle Potato Chips. I’m not much of a flavored chips kind of gal but I went ahead and tried these and they were pretty good. I thought they were going to be similar to vinegar chips but they weren’t as strong and didn’t leave my tongue tingling.

Made Good Chocolate Chip Granola Minis were little crunchy yet chewy balls of granola, including oats, apples, and chocolate chips. I work at a school so it was nice to see that they are free of tree nuts and peanuts.

I give cookies like Dick & Jane Educational Snacks to my daughter. These taste like animal crackers but have Fun & Fitness or Food & Nutrition pictures stamped on them.

I love iced tea but it’s kind of cold now so I will save these to drink in a couple of months. Pure Leaf Iced Tea in Black Tea with Peach and Green Tea with Citrus might taste ok hot, but the manufacturer says they are specially blended for iced tea and I know hot weather is just around the corner here in Texas.

I shared Janis & Melanie Original Cheese Straws with a co-worker.

These were dense, like a shortbread cookie, and at first there was no flavor. Then the cayenne kicked in, but so did something weird. We both agreed they had a strange aftertaste.

I used to eat corn nuts when I was kid but haven’t bought them in decades so I was happy to see Love, Corn Smoked BBQ Roasted Corn Snack in the box.

I shared it with my family and we all agreed that these were delicious. Slightly smokey, a little sweet and salty, and very tasty. I looked up the ingredients of the brand I used to eat and realized why I don’t buy those anymore, they were full of MSG and other undesirable ingredients, but this brand was all-natural, and even the corn is non-GMO.

My daughter reached for That’s It Zesty Apple + Cinnamon first thing out of the box! She says she loves these bars.

This is dense and chewy, like dried apples with cinnamon mixed in. Very tasty. Seriously, only two ingredients are in this bar!

I love trail mix and Emily’s Premium Northwest Trail Mix is no exception!

Cashews, almonds, raisins, craisins, and cinnamon apples were the tasty tidbits and my bag was soon empty but I loved the lightly salty sweet flavor!

I tried Buff Bake Chocolate Chip Protein Peanut Spread straight up on a spoon and I guess I was kind of expecting it to taste like Nutella, which is crazy, and of course it didn’t since it’s made with peanuts. It had a grainy consistency and was sweet and kind of stuck to the roof of my mouth. It wasn’t very chocolatey. Maybe it’s better when eaten with apples.

I’ve received stroopwafels before but this is the first time I’ve had Belgian Boys Mini Choco Stroopwafels. The inside is caramel sandwiched between two cookies and this version is dipped in Belgian milk chocolate. Very delicious and I love the portion control the mini cookies provide.

Tom & Jenny’s Sugar Free Chocolate Soft Caramels were created by a dentist (Dr. Jenny!) and are sugar-free thanks to xylitol and maltitol syrup. They have a flavor similar to a Tootsie Roll, but were softer and had a bit of a brownie flavor. I didn’t even realize they were sugar-free until after I had finished them and was researching the product!

I received a non-food bonus item and let me say how happy I was to see it sealed in plastic since it was in a food box!

Purell Multi-Surface Disinfectant kills norovirus, flu and cold viruses, E. coli, and MRSA and can be used on or around food surfaces, such as a kitchen counter, without rinsing. Currently our country is going through a flu epidemic so I was pretty happy to give this a try, along with using traditional flu avoidance protocol!

There’s always a nice assortment of snacks in my monthly Love with Food! I’m kind of hesitant to try new things at the store and don’t want to buy bulk items on the internet so this lets me try items I wouldn’t normally go for. There’s always something for everyone, with several items going directly to my kids. If you review your items for points and have an annual subscription it brings down the cost of the box, plus the coupon codes add to the value. Of course, you can always buy the items individually or in bulk but I prefer the convenience of having a variety of snacks to choose from. Love With Food donates meals to charity with each box purchased.
