The Gentleman’s Box is a monthly men’s subscription box providing the required essentials for the savvy man. Boxes contain specially-selected items that range from accessories to grooming. When you subscribe, you also receive a year-long subscription to GQ magazine, which is delivered separately through the mail.
Each box also includes a copy of The Gentleman’s Post, a well-designed booklet describing the products in the box and offering styling suggestions for each one.

The Gentlemen’s Post walks through through everything in the box, and more. There is a handy table of contents that gives a quick list of the contents and the total retail value. The last several issues have introduced new members to the Gentleman’s Box team.
Each month is dedicated to someone who has had a significant influence on culture or fashion. This month’s collection is to our favorite Milk Man.
They always give you an inspiration page showing all the items in the box and how to wear them.
A page is dedicated to each item — they include the usual picture and blurb, but they also include a handy section denoting the level of attire (e.g. formal, business, biz-cas, casual) for which the item is appropriate, as well as colors that best complement it. The how-to-wear-it aspects of the Post go a long way in making all the accessories useful to any subscriber.

They categorize items and features into Look Good, Feel Good, and Be Good sections, highlighting fashion, health and grooming, and charitable endeavors, respectively.
This month’s charity is Justin J. Watt Foundation. They give children an opportunity to become involved in athletics.

Lockstep Apparel Socks ($12) It’s the brand’s first appearance in Gentleman’s Box and I must say it’s a good start. This pair of socks is so soft and comfortable!
It’s made with cotton, polyester, spandex, and nylon.
These socks are perfect for any occasion. The color matches the tie well, and it has a good fit too.
Lapel Pin ($15) It’s a navy blue lapel pin with a flower design. It’s made of 100% micro-fiber.
The next two items came with a reusable pouch.
East Of Liberty Money Clip ($15) This money clip is made of solid stainless steel.
It can easily hold a bunch of money all at once!
It’s simple, practical, and very handy.
Leather Bracelet ($25) Another stylish item included in the box is this leather and cord-wrapped bracelet. It’s a unique approach to bracelet design, but the best thing about it is that the makers donates 15% of every purchase to Children’s Aid Foundation.
Pocket Square ($25) Last but not the least is a pocket square made of 100% silk with hand-rolled edges.
If you look closer, the pattern in the middle is actually houndstooth in red and black. It has a thin white border, followed by a thicker outer border in navy blue.
Also included is a Bright Cellars card providing a $30 credit on your first box.
I’ve always been impressed by the curation of Gentleman’s Box. Items are all high-quality, and they match each other well. The themes are quite unique and interesting too.
