Doki Doki is a monthly Kawaii subscription box from Japan Crate. Every month you’ll receive super cute Japanese items – accessories, stationery, plushies, and other adorable Japanese goodies.

December 2017 theme is Puppy New Year!

DEAL: Use coupon code HELLO to save $3 on your first box!

This cover art this month is so kawaii!

The card contains fun facts and trivia about dogs. 2018 is The Year of the Dog in the Chinese calendar!

The info card provides the items with a brief description.

There’s also a reminder to share photos on social media using the hashtag #DokiDokiCrate for a chance to be featured in next month’s issue! Looks like the mini mag is no more and they’ve gone with a bi-fold insert.

Everything in the January 2018 Box!

Happy Dog Kitchen Sponge. For a little luck and an added cuteness in the kitchen, they sent us this sponge featuring a happy dog’s face.

It’s so fluffy! All I need now is a good dishwashing soap.

Subscribers received either a Shiba Inu, Boston Terrier, or a cute Dachshund like I did!

The sponge absorbs liquids well. It makes the job less of a mess!

Dog Ema Wooden Plaque. Not really sure what it says but that black and white dog in the wooden plaque has a nice smile and I like it! So adorable!

The black dog version hopes all your dreams come true. If you received the brown dog, he wishes you better luck this year!

Cinnamoroll Notebook. Featured on the notebook’s cover is Cinnamoroll, a white puppy with long ears, blue eyes, pink cheeks, and a plump and curly tail. It resembles a cinnamon roll, hence the name. There’s also Mocha, a brown puppy with long ears and two flowers on her hair, plus their other animal friends.

The pages are unlined, making it great for drawing and even for making a bullet journal.

Shiba Inu Mats. Shiba Inu is the smallest of the six original and distinct spitz breeds of dog from Japan. This mat featuring the adorable dog is great to use on the front door to welcome the guests or even as a mat for your pet’s food corner!

Plushie Puppy (Seal). Subscribers will receive either a puppy plushie or a seal plushie. I got the seal and it’s so adorable in pink! Seals are also known as the dogs of the sea, and they’re just as friendly as their land counterparts.

That face, isn’t it adorable? It’s so cuddly and soft, I can’t get enough of it!

This month’s Doki Doki Crate is full of paw-someness! 2018 is the year of our four-legged furry babies and this box is the perfect way to welcome it. Our family loves dogs, so everything is automatically a win. Doki Doki is definitely a must-try subscription for anyone who loves anything kawaii!
