Bombay & Cedar is a monthly luxury aromatherapy, beauty, wellness and lifestyle subscription box featuring vegan and cruelty-free full and deluxe size products. Items range from essential oils, diffusers, skincare, books, activities, healthy snacks and other surprises for the discerning woman who values her health, wellness & living a life inspired.
A little note from the Bombay & Cedar team is on the inside of the box.
December’s Bombay & Cedar box was beautiful (and smelled beautiful as well). The theme was Mindfulness!
An information card that shows what can be found inside this month’s subscription box.
Each box comes with a small magazine issue which includes information on the featured essential oils, why to choose the products included and more.
Inside the magazine is a feel good quote and a fun activity to try.
It has information about aromatherapy. I found this very interesting and informative!
I learned a lot just by going thru this magazine. In this issue, similar to the theme, it’s all about being mindful.

Munk Pack Double Dark Chocolate Protein Cookie ($2.80) This soft and chewy cookie is a vegan and gluten-free snack that you can take anywhere you go. It’s filling but not too sweet! It’s also GIANT and this is actually two servings (and much larger than my entire hand).
Next up is a pair of organic essential oils. The bottles come with a pouch and information card with the oil’s benefits, precautions and what other oils they blend well with.
Bombay & Cedar Cypress Essential Oil ($16) This cypress essential oil aids in wound healing, regulating blood flow, and eliminating odors. According to the description card, you can blend it with other essential oils such as lime, lemon, orange, and bergamot among others.
Bombay & Cedar Certified USDA Organic Frankincense Essential Oil ($16) This essential oil made with frankincense helps relieve stress and boosts the immune system. It also blends well with other essential oils such as lime, lemon, orange, cypress, and benzoin among others.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try the essential oils because both should be avoided during pregnancy. I will definitely try them out soon. I was pleased that the warning was clearly noted on the card.
Serene House Pirouette Oil Diffuser ($14.95) This scent diffuser is a nifty gadget for the home. You can just put a few drops of the oil on the white ceramic stone part to start diffusing the smell.
It diffuses scent from the oils whether it’s sitting still or when you spin it like a top.
Some of the most influential people in history have made themselves heard despite their quiet voices and personalities, such as Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Bill Gates. The Little Book of Quiet takes a broad look at the need for, and the benefits of, achieving more quiet in your life. It will teach introverts how to harness their many positive qualities, and help extroverts to allow more quiet into their lives. Now that everyone is connected digitally 24/7, more emphasis is being placed on achieving higher emotional intelligence (EQ) to empathize and negotiate with others.
The ability to be quiet is not only a key people skill, and a basic requirement of being a good listener, but it is also known to reduce stress, and help you find inner calm as it brings your focus back to the present world around you. The Little Book of Quiet explores the different ways of achieving more quiet in our lives, through tips, exercises, inspirational quotes and through the teachings of mindfulness.
This book contains quotes that you can read one day at a time. Many of them are helpful in finding a mindful balance, while others are inspiring too.
The best cure for the body is a quiet mind.
I would have to agree with this quote from Napoleon Bonaparte. Sometimes you just have to have peace of mind in order for the body to heal.
Pinky Up Stainless Steel Tea Infuser Stick ($11.99) Next up is a very sleek tea infuser made of stainless steel. It has small perforations that make sure that the leaves you infuse are not in your drink.
At the back of the box are the instructions for use.
It can only be used on a tall glass because it’s too long, but we generally use oversized cups, so I think it’s ok. I’m not a tea drinker but my husband & daughter are and we were on the hunt for a high quality infuser. Score!
Sticky Be Socks “Be Mindful” Grip Socks ($15) These non-slip socks are 80% cotton and 20% spandex. The foot bed is padded to give you that extra cushion and comfort. These sockies are absorbent and breathable too.
The inspirational message on these socks goes well with the theme.
Ujjayi Wonder Mist ($24) Although this gentle mist is formulated with yogis in mind, it can also be used outside the yoga mat as a face cleanser, toner, and make-up remover.
It has a baseline of coconut oil, plus aloe vera and essences of Eucalyptus that make it really refreshing on the skin.
Justea Little Berry Hibiscus Loose Leaf Tea ($11.99) Hibiscus tea is known to help treat several conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and inflammatory problems. It comes with a cute beaded wooden spoon.
This is made with 100% natural ingredients, no artificial colours or flavours, no chemicals and it’s caffeine free.
I really like the items from this month’s box. The curation was well thought of, and each piece is directly related to the theme. There was also a ton of items to help guide you through your mindful lifestyle at a much lower price than selecting them all individually. This is definitely a curation where I feel like I could trust Bombay & Cedar to deliver high quality super usable items monthly that won’t clutter my space or mind.
