Pop In A Box December 2017 Funko Subscription Box Review & Coupon

Hello Subscription may earn compensation via links in this post. Read the full disclosure

Pop In A Box is a monthly Funko POP! vinyl figure subscription. Every month, you will receive the number of POP! figures you order (starting at $9.99 per POP!).

In all seriousness, they have a totally awesome and exhaustive Pop tracker that you should sign in to use if you have any sort of Pop collection (we have quite a few). Shipping is always a flat $4.99 but you can get as many as 12 POP!s a month.

You can block Pops from being sent, rate pops in their tracker, and if you track your collection with their tracker and subscribe you will not receive any dupes. They do give away figures randomly to subscribers.

When you sign up you can add POP!s to your collection, thumbs up and down (never get a thumbs down, more likely to get a thumbs up). Everything that you Thumbs Down will be blocked, and you can pull them back out if your tastes/fandoms change. Thumbs Up will place the Pops on your Wish List.

DEAL:  Save 20% on your first $20+ order! No coupon required, just use this link to subscribe.

I do find it fun and easy to do the thumbs up & down a couple times a week, and I suggest filling out your collection and blocking any POP!s you hate and marking any POP!s you really want before actually subscribing.

Once you’re signed up you’ll get a new pops email whenever they add new pops to the shop – and then you’ll know it’s time to do thumbs up/down. (I finally got this one!)

There’s not a lot of fanfare with this box. Here are my contents! I have found that the boxes are usually in great condition but we take them out because our kids play with them.

Note: When you receive your Pops from PIAB they will not be added to your collection. They don’t track what you get, so when you get them, add them to your tracker so you don’t receive them again (and don’t forget to add all the other Pops you get to your tracker too).

Funko Pop! Twilight Sparkle Sea Pony Vinyl Figure ($5.64) Yay, it’s a Little Pony! I’m so happy to see Twilight Sparkle in our box!

The back of the box features other Pops from this series aside from Twilight Sparkle: Rainbow Dash (who’s next!), Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. If you wish to have one of those, remember to give them a thumbs up!

Here’s Twilight Sparkle when she was turned as a sea pony in the movie by Queen Novo, the queen of Seaquestria!

Sea ponies have the upper body of a pony and the lower body of a fish.

Twilight Sparkle is a UNICORN pony and she can also transform into an Alicorn, a pony with unicorn horns and pegasus wings!!! She’s also the Princess of Friendship. Her color is so adorable, her skin is purple while her hair has strands of dark indigo, pink and purple!

She is really cute! Her mark is a pink star with five white stars surrounding it, located on her dorsal fin.

Funko Pop! Rainbow Dash Sea Pony Vinyl Figure ($21.21) We received not just one but two ponies this month! The second is Rainbow Dash!

We definitely need to get Fluttershy next to complete this set!

She’s colorful and glittery. Just like the other girls, she was turned into a sea pony by the Queen of Seaquestria.

I’m loving that rainbow-colored hair! It’s composed of red, orange, yellow, green, dark blue and purple! She is a pegasus pony that can maintain the weather and clear the skies in Ponyville.

In her sea pony form, she has the upper body of a pony and the lower body of a fish.

As always, the ponies’ cutie marks are located in their dorsal fins. Rainbow Dash has a rainbow-colored lightning bolt with a cloud mark.

Funko Pop! Mickey Mouse Vinyl Figure ($11.19) Last but definitely not the least from this box is Mickey!

Aside from Disney’s beloved mouse, also available in this series is Maleficent, Tinker Bell, and Stitch.

The slender Mickey is wearing his classic red shorts with white buttons, yellow shoes, and white gloves.

I love that tail and his iconic ears!

He’s definitely one of our favorite characters of all time. At first we thought this was a dupe (we do have a Mickey) but it’s not. Great – our 3 year old was wild over this!

The pops we received this month are all looking adorbs! We love unicorns and Disney, and everything came in pristine condition so we really couldn’t ask for more. Pop In A Box is such a perfect subscription for Funko collectors. They have a system makes sure that you won’t get a duplicate, just don’t forget to update your tracker!  FYI – if these POP!s are too cutesy for you – do remember that our preferences and thumbs up/down are set that we are getting figures mostly for our kids (but don’t worry, I sneak in a few Star Wars for me!).

Yay for Mickey. Caleb got me the Kingdom Hearts Mickey from Hot Topic for Christmas. He is now proudly on my shelf. 🙂
