Everything in my November 2017 NYLON BOX!
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil ($16.52) This water-soluble formula is useful in removing excess oil, makeup, and dirt. It is also packed with olive oil and vitamin E that nourishes and hydrates the skin.
When added with water, it transforms into a milky emulsion that is very soothing on the skin. I like how refreshed it felt afterwards. It didn’t leave my face dry nor greasy.
Amika Sea Buckthorn Berry Nourishing Mask ($10) This lightweight hair mask is perfect to have in handy if you tend to have extra dry hair during winter. The formula helps restore and repair dry, damaged hair. It contains sea buckthorn berry, also known as obliphica, which naturally contains over 190 biologically active compounds. Safe for color-treated, Brazilian-treated, and keratin-treated hair. No artificial colors and petrochemicals too!
Moon Rock Activated Charcoal & Black Currant Soap ($13.99) Charcoal and black currant oil are known for clearing up troublesome skin, as well as in tightening the pores.
It’s great for the face since it’s anti-acne, but you can use it all over the body, too. The soap smells wonderful! The only downside is that soaps like this are prone to leaving black trails in light colored tubs.
Pop Sockets Phone And Grip Stand ($9.41) This is compatible with any smartphone or tablet and it secures grip whether you’re using your gadget in landscape or portrait mode. Serves as a stand too.
Pop Sockets have a reusable (and very stong) adhesive, so you just have to stick it on the back of your phone or tablet and you can reposition it when you need it to.
It is collapsible and very versatile. Plus, the design is really cute! You can customize the photo with your own if desired. I’m not crazy about putting stuff on my phone, but this is great for anyone who’s hands are bothered by holding a phone for extended periods.
Migoals Get Shit Done Notebook ($5.43) Love the cover, it’s exactly the reminder most of us need these busy days towards the holidays.
This A6 notebook has 48 pages. Half of them are to-do lists, and the rest are lined notes.
Yaaasss, time to get shit done!
Here are sample pages. I actually like the neat layout! On the right, I can list all the things I need to accomplish for the day. Meanwhile, on the left, I can jot down more details if I need to.
GlamSpin Fidget Spinner Lip Gloss ($10) They sure made fidget spinners extra useful by turning them into a lip gloss container!
It contains three flavors of lip glosses: strawberry, peach, and grape.
They’re surprisingly good. Made my lips feel smooth and soft!
It would make for a nice gift to a tween or teen girl!
NudeStix Lip Pencil In Freckle ($24) A warm burgundy-meets-brown shade in matte.
The color is great for the season. It will look beautiful whether for you have fair skin or deep skin tone.
It’s well pigmented and easy to apply!
NYLON BOX has that youthful vibe. If you’re a sucker for anything cute, you will love it. Although the curation wasn’t really highly-impressive like other beauty boxes, the cute extras made up for it and the overall value is still greater than the price of the box.
In case you’re wondering why you’re not seeing any photos of the recent Nylon Magazine issue, it’s because they discontinued the print edition and they transitioned to an all digital platform (while firing their entire staff…).
