A pesky pimple—or a bigger complexion concern? At one point or another we all face some bumps along the way. Consider this kit to be your pore protection plan for any unexpected skin situations. From spot treatments that will work their zit-zapping magic, to a purifying mask that purges impurities without stripping skin of moisture, you’re in the clear (literally).

The back of the card details all the items and describes why they’re amazing!

Everything inside the kit!

Acure Organics Clarifying Acne Towelettes ($9.99) Made for acne-prone skin, these towelettes are pre-moistened cloths that contains glycolic acid, willow bark extract, zinc licorice root, and salicylic acid.

It doesn’t just remove dirt and other impurities, it also brightens skin tone and boosts cell turnover. The packaging is travel-friendly, it’s perfect stash in a tote to freshen up even when on the go.

Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots ($5) Easy-to-use spot treatment patches are a must in every acne emergency kit. This pack contains one sheet with 12 patches. Each patch is for single use. I like how it adheres to skin well and it also stays put even when you leave it on overnight. It takes a couple of days of consistent use, but it does reduce the blemish size.

Acure Organics Acne Spot Treatment ($18.98) Packed with salicylic acid, this spot treatment penetrates deep to fight the pimple source. It also contains daffodil flower extract that helps in reducing redness and in lightening the appearance of the skin.

The formula is strong and only a small amount is needed to treat pimples, so I guess this tube will last quite a while. It’s GMO-free, vegan, gluten free, and cruelty free too.

Even better – it’s only $1 less than the cost of the box, so it makes the entire thing an amazing deal!

Avene Cleanance Expert ($3.08) This moisturizer and acne treatment in one is suitable for oily, blemish-prone, and sensitive skin, it is packed with patented ingredient called Diolényl which helps in reducing acne spots and blackheads. The best thing about this treatment is that it leaves the skin with a mattifying powdery finish, making for a smooth and even canvas for makeup.

Juara Rose & Willowbark Purifying Mask ($4.10) If you’re into botanical scents, you’ll love this purifying mask which is a blend of rose flower water, white willow bark and red sandalwood with clarifying clay and skin-softening rice. It feels soothing on the skin, but most of all it’s pore-perfecting.

Shamanuti Activated Charcoal Cleanser ($6) Active charcoal has been known to neutralize acidity and absorb impurities. This cleanser combines the benefits of charcoal with the gentle exfoliating properties of maple extract, and it’s not just for acne but also for treating rosacea and eczema.

Our acne emergency kit is almost complete, thanks to this curation from Birchbox. Aside from acne treatment, I also appreciate that they included some preventive skin care items to keep skin clear and smooth. I also think this kit gave me a lot of bang for the buck, as it only costs $20 but was packed with a total retail value of $45+!
