November’s theme is Gratitude. We are invited to be grateful for all the experiences we had this year, all the people we spent time with, and for all the lessons we learned through our mistakes. This month’s items are there to help us be kind with us.
This month’s packing list tells us what are the item. For your information, there was a lot of variation for this month’s box in terms of colors and scents.
Yogi Surprise Yoga Sequence Series Card. Every month, you receive a little card with a sequence of poses to celebrate the month’s theme.
This month’s pose really opens up our heart! I love getting these sequences! Fun fact: you can download all the previous sequence cards on the yogi surprise website so you can have your own little inspiration book.
If you share your Yogi Surprise photo on social media, you are automatically entered to win a Yoga Retreat.
Pacifica roll on Perfume Oil ($14). First of all, the packaging is to die for! Not easy to take picture of, as it’s shiny with some weird rainbow reflection on the roll on itself, but it really screams that this is a crystal-infused perfume!
I received the Dream State perfume, jasmine and lemon oil infused with amethyst. Other variation were the Breath Taking (cardamom, peper and rose quartz), Hardcore Happy (coconut, vanilla and quartz), and so on.
I really like Pacifica products, and this scent is perfect for me. I love jasmine, and I used to sleep under a jasmine plant and the scent has now been associated to relaxation and dream. The lemon gives it a well needed kick, and the amethyst is a lovely stone for meditation, keeping bad energy away, and to balance all chakras. I couldn’t ask for a better blend!
Rising Tide Drape Scarf for Meditation ($22). This is an other item with a lot of variation this month. I’ve received the Paisley Eyelet Infinity Scarf in Orange. Even though you don’t use scarf for meditation, this one is a lovely fall scarf.
It’s made with 100% rayon, in India, and it’s so thick and comfortable!
The scarf is double layered all around, so you already feel warm as soon as you wrap it around your neck! Some of the variation includes the Metallic Gathered Infinity Scarf in different colors, the Pointillistic Floral Scarf in different colors, etc.
Jivana Facial Serum ($22) – pitta balancing. This Treatment Oil is made with a blend of soothing and quenching oils, as well as essential oils to calm reactive prone skin while protecting it in the dry winter months.
It’s made with almond, jojoba oil, hemp seed, argan oil, olive squalene, chamomile, green tea and calendula extract, which are all soothing. I’m just worried about the proprietary fragrance blend as some of the essential oils could undo all the goods from the lovely blend. Just a couple of drops after cleansing and before a moisturizer is all it takes to enjoy the effects of oils. I’m actually really excited to try this one as my skin LOVES face oils, but will react to a lot of slightly irritating (I hope there’s no lavender essential oils, my skin hates that thing).
The Batik Boutique Cardholder with Key Ring ($26). I love love love the color I received! This was another item with color variation, but the motif are all the same. Such a cute extra pocket! You can keep a bit of cash, with your lip balm and a mat wipe for on the go class. Or keep your hair elastic, so they don’t get lost and tangled with everything else in your bag. Possibilities are endless!
For a small little bag, it’s quite roomy and the opening is wide so everything inside is easy to access. The fabric is not stiff either, it’s very soft but sturdy.
WalBall Massage Ball ($20). A portable trigger point massage ball that you can stick to the wall, making it easy to reach your back knots! I was quite intrigued by this. I use a ball for my feet, but when I tried to use it on the wall for my back, I didn’t like that it was rolling all over the place.
But this ball doesn’t roll around. It sticks just enough on the walls or on the floor to stay there while you are working on your muscle. Of course, don’t expect this walball to stay on the wall by itself for long period of times, that’s not it’s purpose. You don’t want something so sticky that it’ll remove your wall paint!
These holes are the magic behind the walball!
Use your muscles!
It almost looks like an alien ship! I’ve tried it in the shower and it does give you the nice thumb on the know feelings. You can get more or less pressure, it’s easy to move it from one spot on the wall to an other one to get the right angle, and you can focus on getting to the know instead of keeping the ball on the wall! It’ll definitely travel with me, it’s light and easy to throw in your suitcase.
Rickaroons Coconut Energy Bar in Pumpkin Spice. They are soft cookies made with shredded coconut and blended almonds, sweetened with coconut palm nectar and dark chocolate chips and mixed with a blend of pumpkin spice. It’s very soft, light, and moist. Tastes like coconut too!
Included in the box, a spoiler for December’s Yogi Surprise Lifestyle box: Sekoia Essential Oil, The Energizer.
November’s Yogi Surprise was amazing! I’ve got a thing for scarves, the little purse is already being used as a Yogi Emergency Pouch, and the walball is doing wonders on my back and neck. The Pacifica Roll on has a nice scent and the face serum will help me keep my skin happy during the cold and dry winter. I love the mix of item and that everything is useful, for Yogis or those who just likes to take care of themselves!

Hello Catherine! I am Tracy, creator and founder of Jivana Ayurveda products. First, thank you for your kind and honest review! I appreciate comments that bring up thoughtful questions. I list the “fragrances/essential oils” on my products as “proprietary fragrance blend” so as to not divulge my “trade secret”. These are essential oil blends I have created personally and want to protect the integrity of my work. That said, the Pitta Treatment Oil does not contain lavender so you are safe! Any customer is welcome to reach out to me at anytime to ask any question and I am happy to assist. If you have any other questions, concerns or comments, feel free to contact me. All the best, Tracy
