Sealed with Irish Love Box is a subscription box bringing the heart of Ireland to you, no matter where you are in the world. I don’t know what it is about Ireland that just makes me feel so warm and cozy — I don’t have family there but I have dear friends, and honestly they are that same kind of warm and cozy. So I guess that’s why!

Sealed with Irish Love Box was created by Máire, a designer in Ireland who started with her own line of homewares and eventually launched this box. It’s a way to support wonderful Irish crafters, makers, and small indie businesses.

At the top was a large card thanking new subscribers.

The information sheet is incredibly thorough and detailed. I love reading information cards and sheets!

You really get to know the people behind the items included and learn more about their lives and businesses. The information is two sheets and the third has photos!

McNutt of Donegal Copenhagen Scarf ($38) — The hero item of the box for me is the beautiful woven lambswool scarf! The dark colours contrasted with brights is gorgeous, and adds a punch of light to the dreary grey winters. McNutt’s has been producing these fine woolen scarves and blankets for over 60 years.

Simone Walsh Print Card ($3.50)– Simone is an artist and painter in County Wexford. I love how bright this scene is!

Felt Coasters ($8.50) — A set of four coasters made of felt! This both captures heat on hot beverages and keeps cold beverages cool. The design is really unique and the colour is great.

Irish Cream Butter Fudge ($5.75) — Oh my god, I’ve died and gone to heaven. It’s butter fudge with BAILEYS IN IT. How have I never heard of this before? It is every bit as delicious as you can imagine. There is real Irish Cream Liqueur in it, so keep it away from the kids.

I loved this box so much. The scarf is beautiful, the card and coasters are so bright and cheerful, and the fudge is to die for. And with Christmas around the corner, the items would make lovely gifts, too. Sealed with Irish Love is just a wonderful box, and I would recommend it not just to people with a love or Ireland but anyone who has an appreciation for high quality, hand-crafted goods from talented artisans.
